The title is probably referring to the swimming pool used to train astronauts, one of the largest pools in the world I believe, (the space station being on Earth).
to the people of the internet, im glad to be living at the same time as you guys, one day we will go, i dont know how will the future be then, but im thankful for living once in my life with you people, may we live and leave in peace
@Eagle1Division2 I'm guessing he's saying that he hopes to relax at a pool inside a space station (where gravity can somehow exist in the future) with the view of the vast space with this song playing one day, which i would imagine would be amazing :)
@ToeKnee1512 The reason a pool is so comfortable is because you float in it, so why not forgo the pool and gravity machine and just enjoy the current, real ISS? :P
Someone should suggest to the astronauts that they try listening to this while in the Cupola on the ISS xD
(Artificial gravity done by making the space station a torus shape and spinning it, very possible)
@Eagle1Division2 You don't need water to swim. I think what he was emphasizing was the lack of gravity and apparent dream-like body-weight, matched with the soft and ethereal music, creates a vision of floating about inside a room void of gravity.
If you like Eluvium, Helios, Hammock, Goldmund, Rachel's, The Album Leaf, Boards of Canada, and other similar artists, you might like my stuff. I'd love some support! :)
I'm 16 and listening to Eluvium. I honestly have absolutely no care that I listen to what my friends regard as obscure music. Quite honestly, I'm proud of the fact I am a free thinker who has the mental capacity to discover music that isn't quite mainstream and is suited towards my taste instead of following what others regard as 'cool'. Fuck those guys. I have actual taste in what I believe to be absolute musical genius.
@jjjeahh you have your own taste. You're right. fuck your friends and what they call music. Music is your own. Never let anyone tell you what you like. Let your taste grow. Sample everything you can. It's the only way to experience life. This coming from a 25 year old and someone who learned the hard way to like what they want.
@jjjeahh what gave you the idea to tell everybody your 16? really man.. who cares what music you listen to when youre 16.. music doesnt half an age limit.. so eyah, dont give a fuck what they think of your music taste, if they dont like it well then thats immature of them.. and stupid, keep liking what you like and keep free thinkin bai :P
If you like Eluvium, Helios, Rachel's, Hammock, Boards of Canada, Aphex Twin, and other similar artists, you may like my stuff. I'd love some support. :)
@HarderMindStyle Lol. Why are you trying to define music? I just made the point that I think the piano needs turning up throughout the tune, is all. I think the composition is very good, I like it a lot, but when I listen to this I find the production really disappointing tbh. I think the same composition produced differently could be epic, whereas I think this is just ok really. The piano really needs to hit home more imo. But yeah, all opinions I guess...
@madtom1337 I believe Eluvium is trying to develop some sort of atmospheric sound where all the sounds mix together rather than the piano taking lead, yet everyone is entitled to their opinions. Personally, I make similar music, and I have my piano volume a bit higher than this track.
Please make a flip book starting in black and white and ending in color and film it with your video camera and add this song to it and then post in on Youtube. PLEASE.
I doubt Deadpool will be uploading this track anymore, so might as well favorite it from here. It's so wonderfully atmospheric and dim, with that romantic and cinematic feel to it.

I hope to god I get the chance to swim in a pool at a glass walled space station with this playing one day.
4Nightfox4 7 months ago 4
@4Nightfox4 Wait... A pool in mircro gravity? How does that work? O.o
More importantly, what's the point?
You float around normally. And you can even breathe while you float, too, without the pool :D
