(cont.) hard to see three women who you don't know singing your songs like they are theirs. I understand the producers own the name but it still would have been nice for them to leave that past behind & forge into the future with new material. Sometimes when our feelings get hurt, we don't always act right. I would be hurt too if I was Angel. Even though they didn't write the songs, we all grew up with Angel, Caroline and Margo (& Sunshine for a minute) singing these songs. They belong to them.

I understand Angel must have rubbed a lot of people the wrong way over the years but she's definitely still go that voice. The reason it's so hard for some to tell her live voice from the track here is because they are almost identical. If you listen, you can tell she's singing and singing well. Also, I understand there definitely could have been a classier way of expressing her feelings about the new Cover Girls. OMG. I'd rather see the current COVER GIRLS group perform live rather than this "original" cover girl. The vocal assistance track is turned up so high, she doesn't even need to sing anything.

@elchicho25 Definitely true! I love the "new" Cover Girls, and they do have one semi-original member who's been with them since the 90's. The funny thing is that Angel's agent goes to great lengths to put down the Cover Girls and say they are phonies, while emphasizing that Angel is the REAL THING. Then she goes up on stage and lipsynchs or sings with her old recording turned up so loud that you can't even hear what she sounds like. Yeah she's hot, but that's the only thing that impresses me.

@elchicho25 Yeah. Word up! The current Cover Girls actually do put on a great show. Furthermore, calling them a bogus group is not really accurate since they not only own the rights to the name, but they do have one original (or semi-original) member and that's all that it takes to be recognized as a legitimate group.
