Christmas is a phenomenon based on Lk 2:10. Its message is associated with a spirit of GREAT JOY & came to ALL PEOPLE. So it is to this day. Like the Jews in Esther ch 9 who CREATED the Feast of Purim, we are free to celebrate it (Rom.14). And like Communion, it doesn't have to be on the exact date it began. When Jesus was born all of Heaven celebrated, the angels, the shepherds & the wise men also. Guess who didn't? Satan. He still doesn't, & wants us to follow suit. Merry Christmas everybody.

His name was not called "Jesus" either. It has been changed in the Greek from Yahuw (original name) to Iesus (Zeus) to Jesus. Most of the prophets' names contained the word "Yahuw" (comes from YHWH = YaHuWaH). Isaiah's name was actually Yashayahuw (The savior is Yahuw.) This was to prophetically look ahead at the birth of Yahuw (whom many incorrectly call Jesus, or Zeus). Yahuwah is bringing his people out of spiritual Babylon (Roman Catholicism, Protestantism, etc.) to prepare for the final day

The Catholics decapitated anyone not worshiping on SUNday, changing the eternal commandment to observe the Sabbath Day. Why do you think only the last 6 commandments are mentioned in Matthew 19? Because the Roman Catholics broke the first 4 of them in order to incorporate the pagan gods of the Roman College. These 4 were removed.

This issue is really not that new. In the days of the kings of Judah, idolatry had become so immersed into the culture that when Sennacherib came to invade Jerusalem, he saw no difference between the God of Jacob and the gods of the other nations. The children of Israel had so married baal worship with the Lord, that it was indistinguishable to many then too. Such act made the worship of the LORD common-even unholy. Come out of Babylon! The Lord is not pleased when we go n debt 4 1 day just 2 please our child when we r the ones that r the parents! We r 2 train up the child in the way they should go, but we r so caught up n what other people will think of us instead of God. So how is it that we celebrate Christ? onlytruth SDG: Amen brother! Yes, Christ Mass is a coveted holiday celebrated by so many Christians unwilling to give it up. If you tell anyone the truth about it`s Babylonian & Roman Catholic backround, they look at you like your nuts. My decision to stop celebrating Christ Mass in my home almost cost me my marriage, seriously. If that`s what it costs me to to follow Christ in all truth than so be it. onlytruthSDG....u have spoken truth! The Lord has begun 2 deal with my husband and i on this matter. This is too real. I have heard and seen enough in this month t make me never want to celebrate Dec 25 again. We are going to teach our children while they are still at a tender age about the meaning of Dec. 25, and i believe that the Lord has already begun to prepare them 2 receive it because they do love Him and truth! I am studying this farther right now bcuz i feel it is urgent!

It should more correctly be called Christ MASS. A pagan sun-worshiping day that was baptized by the disobedient and compromising Roman church. A day that honors the abominable Mass where the Papal "Jesus" is sacrificed on their alter. And sadly Protestants protest Rome no more but celebrate her liturgical calendar keeping days NOT found in the Word nor kept by the early church that was truly SOLA Scriptura. Mark Kielar is a very good expositor and preacher and I learn much from his sermons. However, I am somewhat disappointed that his "proof" that a man wrote the Gospel of Matthew consisted of a rather disparaging parody of women when they talk of the birthing process... maybe the preacher was just trying to be funny? In that case, I did not find it funny at all.

After watching that documentary, and hearing that sermon, I would like to invite all my brothers and sisters to investigate the history of Christmas and Easter, and what the Scriptures say about pagan customs.

There are Feast's of Yahuweh described in His word, that are His Holy-days. They all point to the Messiah, and even point to His return.
