@marvin8479 3rd gen comes in 8, 32 and 64 gb. the 32 and 64 gb versions have better hardware and voice control. but the 8gb one is 3rd gen too. the only difference from the second gen is on the back. all that "designed by apple in california" stuff is written in 2 lines, instead of 3 or 4 on the 2nd gen :D
