You mention GLOW. I think Spanish Red was a very good wrestler, alongside being attractive.

Wendi is old school, and Deuce was the beginning of new school. I love them both and think they had great skills. AWA had a fun women's division in the late 80's, with Deuce, Wendi, Sherri, Candi, Mimi, and others.

I don't know that I'd completely agree with you. When they start duking it out before they've even got their ring jackets off, that usually bodes for good things. Then, at 4:36 to 4:40, Madusa does her version of the "punch-drunk Ric Flair" move which was kind of funny to watch. But on the whole, yeah, I agree with you, kind of a ho-hum match with those two highpoints that didn't generate a lot of interest.

The AWA promoters should have let these two wrestle a higher caliber match than hey did overall, instead of a ho-hum match with only 2 exciting parts of the match.
