I liked the halloween movies old and new. There are some things I consider better about the originals and some about the remakes. Honestly neither the original nor the remake was perfect. But to an extent they were both good.
this is the best halloween movie, the way zombie portrayed myers in this one as more of a ruthless killer who not just stabs you once but continues to stab you and just doesn't stop, he's more of a killing machine in this, the way myers should be portrayed
I honestly like the gore and action effects in this movie but the following of the pain plot of the original and all the others before is lost in my opionon (My opinion is just what I honestly think about this film) is that it sucks other than the gore and the action its just horribad. the option is just to state what you think about the general topic no need to be offended its just what one person thinks.

This movie is complete shit, I don't wanna hear Michael Myers shit his pants every time he kills someone especially since he didn't do it at all in the first Zombie film. It plays like a B film and to me is a B film the only 2 scenes I liked was the start of the film, and the credits. Also this slaps the great character of Dr. Loomis in the face turning him into a greedy prick was what really put the nail in the coffin for me.

Ok the only reason i like this movie, is because i freaking love michael myers, and because scout taylor compton and Danielle Harris are in it. Rob Zombies version would've been way better if he made Michael silent, and kept his mask the same. It was still a good movie, better than alot of remakes out there. it is his own interpretation of michael myers and the ways he see;s the movie.
@Twilight5698 Michael Myers mask has always changed, they only used the same mask in the first two films and in Zombies films it makes more sense why he is constantly wearing the same mask (because it is the same one that just gets deteriorated more and more with time) instead of the originals that Michael just happens to find a mask that looks like his original mask every time. Zombies ideas for the mask just make more sense.
The intensity and unstoppable evil factor of Michael Myers is immediately lost with this adaption of halloween........Michael Myers was terrifying because he was just pure mentaly disturbed evil on an eternal mission of death set forth by the Devil himself, and you got all that from just the music the fact that he just stared, walked after you and never, ever, spoke.........but this still easily out does the Jason & Freddy remakes.....Thee 2 worst movies i have ever saw.

The best way he could describe Michael was "Evil. Pure, unspeakable evil" (sorry if I got the quote wrong. But these adaptations of John Carpenters low-budget masterpiece try to diagnose what Carpenter made to be undiagnosable.
The characteristics in this Michael Myers, like killing the small animals, being bullied at school, unfortunate living conditions growing up, are all characteristics that are common in serial killers. They tried to make him into a common household serial killer. When Michael Myers was designed to be this unknown, unspeakable, undiagnosable evil. In the original closing credits, Michael Myers, played by Nick Castle, was even credited as "The Shape."

This movie is complete shit, I don't wanna hear Michael Myers shit his pants every time he kills someone especially since he didn't do it at all in the first Zombie film. It plays like a B film and to me is a B film the only 2 scenes I liked was the start of the film, and the credits. Also this slaps the great character of Dr. Loomis in the face turning him into a greedy prick was what really put the nail in the coffin for me.

Ok the only reason i like this movie, is because i freaking love michael myers, and because scout taylor compton and Danielle Harris are in it. Rob Zombies version would've been way better if he made Michael silent, and kept his mask the same. It was still a good movie, better than alot of remakes out there. it is his own interpretation of michael myers and the ways he see;s the movie.

@Twilight5698 Michael Myers mask has always changed, they only used the same mask in the first two films and in Zombies films it makes more sense why he is constantly wearing the same mask (because it is the same one that just gets deteriorated more and more with time) instead of the originals that Michael just happens to find a mask that looks like his original mask every time. Zombies ideas for the mask just make more sense.

The intensity and unstoppable evil factor of Michael Myers is immediately lost with this adaption of halloween........Michael Myers was terrifying because he was just pure mentaly disturbed evil on an eternal mission of death set forth by the Devil himself, and you got all that from just the music the fact that he just stared, walked after you and never, ever, spoke.........but this still easily out does the Jason & Freddy remakes.....Thee 2 worst movies i have ever saw.

@The19763 This is the way I see it. Michael Myers was an undiagnosable case. Dr. Sam Loomis studied him for years and could not figure out what it was. The best way he could describe Michael was "Evil. Pure, unspeakable evil" (sorry if I got the quote wrong. I'm not 100% about it, even though AMC just showed the original about 72 times back-to-back.). But these adaptations of John Carpenters low-budget masterpiece try to diagnose what Carpenter made to be undiagnosable.

They tried to make him into a common household serial killer. When Michael Myers was designed to be this unknown, unspeakable, undiagnosable evil. In the original closing credits, Michael Myers, played by Nick Castle, was even credited as "The Shape."

All Rob Zombie did differently was take a peek into what made Michael into a psychopath stab machine. It doesnt take away the intense horror, it just reminds us that he was once human like all of us. The best horror movies are the ones that make you think, and these movies do just that.
