@lordshiplures you did a decent job concidering the circumstances. I didnt notice that the eel you had you found out on the side of the road tell after i posted the previous comment. The meat probably stuck to the skin because it was already starting to decompose or exposure to the elements. But i heard that geting a large cigar cutter( or something similar) and lightly score the skin in a perfect consistant circle is a really good way to do it.

Jesus! I just skinned one, by hand, no pliers or screw in the head, I had it cut into sections first and it took me over an hour.
