  • i don't get how their bringing of their own workers at 100% tax free and building the place, owning the place is going to bring jobs to Nigerians

  • I applaud the governor for the great jobs he's done so far in the state and more power to him, however, I'm a bit skeptical about some components of the Lekki Free Trade Zone Project, such as the one that gives the Chinese autonomy to bring their own workers, rather than employing Nigerians, as well as paying zero taxes. So with this deal, the Chinese will be able to take 100% of their profits out of the country tax-free, common! Who does that!!!!!

  • Lekki Free Trade Zone! benefit 4 d government, definitely not for the country/mass

  • :) Glad to hear that but, Have they started? coz i know They've started Eko Atlantic, its right in front of where i live :)

  • Im a bit confused if they can bring in their workers without control then the jobs will be created once again for the west and westerners how does this favor us, no tax, no national owner ship im confused how does this benefit us

  • @sguardian870 yes the foreign companies can bring their workers but they will be stupid to do so, because cost of labour will be cheaper in Lagos, it will be more profitable for them to utilize the local labour force, for instance, not many american workers are willing to travel to Lagos to work, you have to pay them three times more.

  • @sguardian870 "how does it benefit us?" In my opinion I dont think Nigerians need benefit. What Nigerians need is hard work and less greed. Nigeria the greatest oil producer in Africa should be richer than many coutries in Europe but they live like pigs. You dont just build a city,. You build a city to make sure you can maintain it consistently, to keep it new and clean. Schools must teach students how to fight corruption. Too much pleasure and less sacrifice makes a country poor.

  • @RobertsDigital So my question is "how does it benefit us" if the program is designed to benefit everyone but the everyday nigerian, then theres no point singing about it. After all like u said we are oil producers..."IS IT BENEFITING US" How does the oil in nigeria today benefit us. Just because the show u a mirror doesnt mean u need to sell ur brother in to slavery. Always ask how it benefits the nigerian. Many westerner earn 400$ A DAY in that same poor nigeria.

  • @RobertsDigital So tell me are those foreigners not making their money in nigeria. How many nigerians make that kind of money from the oil. Now once again i as "HOW DOES IT BENEFIT US". In our own country indians, white, asian everyone treats us like shit...we go out of nigeria the same story. I ask u again how does it benefit us. Dont tell me about corruption, when our resources and land are being grabbed from us in all direction. Is it not poverty that brings the corruption .

  • @sguardian870 My advice for you is this...Instead of you Nigerians sitting down an complaining about whites. You should work hard by knowing what to do. Are you Nigerians so dumb to tell the white people " if you want our oil you must teach us this and that? in exchange for our oil" That is called "doing something!"Like I said before Nigerians dont need benefit for now. What they need is hard work and they treat you Nigerians like shit because you Nigerians cant stand up to make decisions.

  • @RobertsDigital erm who is complaining abt whites. my point is based on policies like this nigerians lose out in every sense. as a nigerian im am doing what i shld be doing asking how it benefits us. "nigerians dont have to benefit now, they jut have to work hard "what are we slaves contn

  • @RobertsDigital why should they work hard and reap nothing.im not sure u read my comments at all and like a typical foreigner who know better than the africans on ground u go about talking shit and making noise and when ur ideas fail its the africans who are too stupid.

  • @RobertsDigital when africans like me speak foreigners like u show up to talk down and not listen.show me 1 nation in the orld where gov policies set up working agaisnt the people creates wealth.i havent made any claim abt white ppl in my comments at all but i do have 1.stop bringing and forcing on ideas doomed to fail.

  • @RobertsDigital just read thru ur comments and see how stupid they sound. most western nations always come withthat line. "dont worry u dont have to see the gain NOW" remember the SAP program that crashed all nations that took it.

  • @RobertsDigital moist ppl like u say work hard. but dont ask how the programs being set up for u will benefit u and ur descendants. loads of nigerians millions graduate inside and outside nigerian universities yet dont get jobs. it goes to foreigners and they sit poor at home after working hard. thats the no benefits ur on about right. study but dont expect policies that will give u jobs just sit and watch the white man take them.

  • @sguardian870 programs being set up? Who owns the country? Again for the quadrillionth time you Nigerians need to know how to organise yourselves so that you can get the benefits you need. Nigeria should be capable of providing jobs for its citizens. You cannot blame the white people if you own the country. You blame the whites because you are too dumb to tell them how much they must pay to get your oil so that you can provide jobs through the money you get. Sinmple Logic.

  • @RobertsDigital As i said, "TYPICAL WESTERNER PROBABLY WHITE DONT EVER LISTEN TO THE AFRICANS ON GROUND COS THEY THINK THEY KNOW BETTER" They think they can just swoop in and do what they want and when it fails its the dumb africans. This video clip is evidently nigerian, there was a nigerian governor in this clip, i am nigerian, the nigerian gov has made a policy that could possibly be of negative impact on nigerians. I complain and ask how it benefits us. U jump in from what ever contn

  • @RobertsDigital western nation u come from and start blabbing as usual and looking for someone to accuse the white man. THERE ARE NO WHITE PEOPLE IN THE NIGERIAN GOV so why the fuck would i be blaming it on the white man.I AM NIGERIAN AND I WAS COMPLAINING ABOUT THE -VE policies the nigerian gov has put in place and u show up and tell me not to complain and just work hard and not expect benefits (this is the part where u dont know or have a clue about whats on ground in africa).contn.

  • @RobertsDigital So if as a nigerian i cant complain about my country and the bad policies, what then can i do "Mr work hard and dont expect rewards". The only reason this is, is that u benefit from the current system of africans losing out and westerners mostly whites gaining the benefits. So now u have me on the white bashing. Simply come out and admit that it benefits u. Its what the western WHITE NATIONS DO. They put in place programs that weaken africans and then claim to be helping.

  • @RobertsDigital and when the african stands up and complains, the next thing is ur lazy, work and dont get benefits that better for, u try to shut them up. Now tell me Mr why should i not be able to criticize my own governments negative policies. I would love to hear ur brilliant un dumb response. No really i cant wait. Let me make it clear "WHAT IS WRONG WITH ME A NIGERIAN QUESTIONING THE POLICIES OF MY GOVERNMENT".

  • @RobertsDigital FINALLY PLEASE SHOW ME WHERE I MENTION THAT IT WAS THE WHITE MAN WHO WAS PUTTING THE POLICY IN PLACE. REALLY I WOULD JUST LOVE TO SEE THE COMMENT...........

  • as a nigerian, i dont think a totally free economic zone will help the country as a whole, foreign companies can bring there workers and take 100% of there profit??? how is it helping the country then? no tax? i know it will create jobs, but free markets are easy target for exploitation,,it will kill our industries,,no wonder many countries reject the idea,,e.g..venezuela, bolivia, south korea, and many more..they realised that a long time ago,,i think we should learn from other countries..

  • will there be electricity after it is completed? left to me electricity is lagos's worst problem, please Fashola and Goodluck, look into this, you can't attract industries until you address the Lagos energy problem.

  • @viokand Do you listen at all? it says it will have it's own water and electricity. pay attention!

  • the stone that a builder refuse will be the end corner stone ----AFRICA SHALL RISE ,THE GLORY OF KEMET SHALL RISE AGAIN

  • supported any way

  • Also, whats up with Tinapa?

  • They should finish on time so we can get jobs there.

  • A very positive development, bring on further economic development : )

  • Oh my, did they not see what happened in Jamaica, Hundorus, Panama and other so called third world countries.

  • @SistaAnn what are u tying to say?

  • @beautifulgooal Not a Thing

  • self sustaining haha yeah right it will be like any other large city, import goods, export trash

  • Lekki and Eko Atlantic-Nigeria is gonna be AWESOME!

  • @geneofisis heck yea, we should get us a job there lol!
