I take it you mean EU rather than UN.
The way the EU works, is if they don't think they can get away with taking a power, or implementing a rule, they just put it on the backburner. Thus some countries might adopt certain rules, while others won't. When it becomes possible, they then implement. Same direction just different routes.
They call is the Salami slicer approach, as we are sucked in piece by piece. They are a cunning bunch, but that is what years of cultivating Marxism does for you.

Unfortuantely Ron Paul is no longer on the ballot. I doubt I will waste my gas going to vote for the 2 'same ol' shit different characters' on the ballot. If I do decide to waste my petrol I'll either be writing Ron Paul in or voting 3rd party. Ron Paul was the only real change, the revolution: Americans thanks for giving us the same ol' shit!

The evidence is all around us. The Schuman declaration called for federalization. The Davignon report (approved by the commission in 1970) called for proposals as to how to achieve federalization. Thank you so much for that. Unfortunately, it seems like they are not going to allow us to have Ron Paul as a candidate. Yes if given a fair chance Ron would win I believe. Among those of us who get our news from the net he's skyrocketed beyond the other candidates in popularity, but our media is continuing it's campaign to ignore and marginalize him.
Remember Kennedy? He was a similar man. Opposed foreign military invovlment, fought governmental corruption, was ready to oust the fed as well...

It's humbling to have liberty loving people in the UK interested in the US political problem. It's sad that you are more involved than 90% of the US voters. We're dying from our ignorance and the apathy it has bred, but that bill is coming due and we're going to be feeling the pain soon. My hope is that when that happens, we'll finally wake from our national slumber and start supporting liberty again and take back our country.
I also dream that the quest for liberty becomes a global movement.

The US is a major world player. EVERYONE should educate themselves on the candidates, as the choice of US prez will affect the world. People the world over should campaign for the candidate they believe in.
