Another way to get your mobile IM fix, is to fill out the log into phone selection on your messangers, follow the prompts and the messages will show up on texts. You might even be able to send videos and photos that way. Alternative way to IM without using your WIFI
Please, let me explain, you cannot block data from your phone, with the WiFi on selection. If you have no data plan and go around town, you WILL be charged for data if there are no hotspots around. The wifi selection just searches for a hotspot first. The ONLY SURE FIRE WAY to avoid charges, is to GO ON VERIZON and change it, or call their customer service.
