Didn't say it changed direction, but because of the speed of the jeep the basket ball LOOKS like it's changing directions. It's going into the hoop from that angle because of the forward momentum it had from the jeep. Go try it, the ball isn't going to go straight as an arrow and land in a line from where you threw it, it's going to land ahead of where you threw it.

Didn't say it changed direction, but because of the speed of the jeep the basket ball LOOKS like it's changing directions. It's going into the hoop from that angle because of the forward momentum it had from the jeep. Go try it, the ball isn't going to go straight as an arrow and land in a line from where you threw it, it's going to land ahead of where you threw it.

Its like jumping inside a bus, you travel with the bust instead of shooting backwards hitting the back. They Threw the ball and the ball t traveled horizontally with the car, since it was moving while being thrown.

wtf... if you drop a tennis ball when sitting inside a car at a constant speed pnto you lap, it will land exactly above where you dropped it. now do that while its accelerating and it will land further towards you.
