sooo sick im going to visit my gf who goes to cofc for a week, def coming here each day. what do you think about early january? i hope theres a good swell for me. i dont really care a wave is a wave, but i'd really like something head high
I used to live in Ocean City MD and the waves are much better up north but the water is warmer down here so that is the trade off. The washout gets good waves one of the few places in Charleston to surf. It is always 2 feet bigger than Isle of Palms. Myrtle Beach gets ok waves and Florida has awesome waves
ur lucky ssgards,i used to surf in South Caroilna but now im livin in sweden!! the wind speed has to be like 10 meteres per sec for it to even be decent and then its suuuper choppy!! n its like 50 to 40 degrees ferienhet in the water so what im am trying to say is do take your local spot for granted...

last time i was there a swell was coming in, the waves were probably like 5-10 feet, it was a pretty cool day.

it takes about 15 minutes to get to Folly Beach from downtown. I am a CofC grad, you are going to love it...
