I sang evensong in here, and the mixture of the regular repeating shafts and columns of that Norman nave and the sound of the choir was almost enough to make a believer out of this heathen! The High Gothic chancel is breath-takingly beautiful. I'm studying Gothic architecture in France, but there's so much cross-fertilisation of theological and aesthetic ideas that you can easily make comparisons. Thanks for posting this little gem!
