  • I have to admit...you are Génesis twins! I am A pro musician & i send you my congratulations. All the best from Spain!

  • @MADAMEMEDUSSA ohhh thanks a lot Madame !!!

  • It's truly a pleasure to see cover bands do really spot-on versions of these classics.

It make us appreciate the brilliance of the original song & band.

    Thank You!!

  • @YYZDRUMR thanks a lot for your appreciation :-) !!

  • Excellent cover of one of my favorite Genesis songs!

  • @scifiwriter98 thanks a lot !!

  • Watching this was a Privalidge. You are all very specail Musicians to be able to pull this song off. Because it is a Showcase of almost everything you need in Music to survive. Do I think 10% of the so called Musicians that are making beats & bass are capable of any of this? No! Because both you & I know why "Exactly" this song is hard to pull off.

All of Pull it off so well though, almost as though it were your own song. It's a shame you didn't go for the Ending. Your Drummer is Amazing btw!

  • @therealKINDLE you're really kind tanks a lot !!

  • I close my eyes and see Genesis, your production is so faithful to the original in every detail! A Majestic performance...........Grazie!

  • @wraithy65 very glad you appreciated ! thanks a a lot !!

  • Solid guys ! this is the version with BB...not perfect but I love this pice so much I will do better each time anyway. I was lucky in 1976 to be at the FORUM of Montréal.

  • This is fantastic. The musicianship is incredible

  • @LedZeppelinFan25 thank you so much !!

OTIMOOOOOOOO !!!

  • @TheViniciusjovemfla thank youuuuuuu !!! :-)

  • @DrAvantajado sorry, don't speak portuguese, but i caught the sense of your words...OBRIGADO !!!

  • would be perfect to a tee if the organ chords were slightly louder-- a 10/10.

  • @chordsequencer001 ...ehhhh would be almost perfect if everything had a better audio sound !!! thanks a lot bud !! :-)

  • You guys are damn good, hope to see you in the states someday soon.

  • I would like to have those guys on my next Birthday party!!!

  • @Noopz ehhhh..thanks a lot for your appreciation !

  • bravo!

  • @KholmovKulishevsky thank you !!

  • I've been a Genesis fan since 1970 and this is absolutely briliiant, nice work guys

  • @Eldomina22 i'm very late, but i wish to thank you so much !!

  • for a moment i really thought this was genesis until i saw the word 'tribute' ;0

  • @funtasyu1 i'm very late but i wish to say that you've been very kind !! thank you !!

  • Incredibile.... vi ho trovato per caso...pelle d'oca a manetta !!!!! Bravi veramente bravi...Grazie

  • @kaludio60 scusa per il ritardo e grazie infinite !!! :-)

  • Oh my god, these guys are awesome!! The drummer is fantastic and the keyboardplayer is amazing! I know the Cinema Show is a very difficult song on the keyboard, very fast and very well played! I have never seen such a significant remake of this song, this is coming dangerously close to Genesis itself! Please keep the Genesis-scene alive!! :)

  • @DjKata thank you so much !!

  • @gardenwall07 Yeah no problem, guys! I´m sorry, but I don't speak italian.. I wish they would still do this in The Netherlands.. In my opinion, Genesis is the single best band ever existed :) The way in which they can run up to a climax in a musical gem ;) One of the single best is the epic 'Supper's Ready'.. Could you maybe give me a hint on how to learn the fast parts of the keyboard? I'm really having a hard time, getting it in the system :P

  • Absolutely Superb! Very nice work :)

  • @saturnfive thank you !!

  • I don't like the "Seconds Out" finale, the original finale with the Dancing with the moonlit knight theme reprise and Aisle of Plenty is the only one possible, according to my hears. But that's my personal opinion, don't kill me for this. The performance is great, played very well and close to the original :)

  • @hogweed89 yeah..i agree with you of course..the real masterpiece is the original...i like it more and more for sure..but i consider the seconds out version like an explosion to satisfy the audience watching two great drummers in a kind of battle ehhhh .....thank you so much !!

  • @hogweed89 p.s.

  • PERFECT !

  • @klaritavital thank you !! :-)

  • Man! You guys are great! Just great! Brought some tears of joy to my eyes, really! Thank you for sharing this with us! Would have made Phil, Tony and Mike proud!!

  • @combatvf24 thanks a lot to you..you're too much kind !

  • Guys you did a great job. I am reliving my childhood with this one!

  • @ocdabiz thank you so much !

  • It's a shame that so many people there talk while you play this wonderful piece of music!!! GREAT

  • @madmagirus thank you !!

  • excellent.

  • @jketteridge Thank you !

  • Sorry ParanormalLight: Tony Banks played a PolyMoog on the song "Many too Many"...

  • Simply astounding, I´m a great fan of Classic Italian Progressive Rock, from Banco to PFM to Celeste to Goblin to Museo Rosenbach

  • @ferfret68 thank you !!

  • I have to say: as good as the original. Really, you guys have some amazing skills. Solos of the instruments are quite hard in this song, especially moog instrumental after all were played with a great precision. Also vocal was impressive, perfectly following Gabriels style. Well I liked it, it wasn't like most of poor covers on youtube. Keep it going guys, good luck! ;)

  • @sheiffa you're very nice !! thank you so much !!

  • @sheiffa Sorry sheiffa, but Tony Banks strickly played ARP synthsizers (ARP 2600 and Pro soloist).. never played a Moog synth or even owned one as far as I know...those are most likely, ARP 2600 patches (horn, etc.) that you hear in the solos in Cinema Show. The key-boardist in Garden Wall does a great job in reproducing the sounds though, on his Yamaha..Great cover..!!!

  • @ParanormalLight thank you !!

  • Glad i found this, one of my fav genesis tracks. why would the audience not shut up and appreciate the brilliance playing in front of them. I would so have loved to have been there. well done great job

  • @AyFrame thank you so much ! :-)

  • Frigging Awesome!!!

You have done some sort of justice to the piece. It is so ALL THERE. It does Hackett, Banks, Gabe, Collins proud.

    Truly overwhelmed.....

  • @kgvander thank you so much..i can feel your true appreciation in your words..and that makes us very happy !! :-)

  • like Le Orme

  • @ste662009 grazie mille a te :-)

  • Wonderful music and great musicians on stage!

  • @funklover24 thank you so much !

  • Very nice, organic feel, spot-on to the spirit of the piece.

  • @SanFernandoJym thanks a lot for appreciating !!

  • I cannot believe that the audience wont SHUT UP!! An excellant performance (AGAIN)!!! On of my favourite G+ songs!!

  • @bigwo56 thanks a lot big !

He's got chops that much I'll give him.

    Great job guys:)

  • @bronilide thanks a lot :-) !

  • What a shame the singer sings so bad! But hats off to the others!

  • @pascal27able actually that night our singer was not on the top , but i don't find vocals are too bad here..anyway many thanks for your comment

  • Oh hell yeah boys...that was very tasty! I liked it a lot. I have never heard anyone do a remake of this before, yet pull it off as well as you guys have. Right on! Give me more!!!!! I want to meet everyone of you and treat you to a beer sometime. Come to Denver and I will make good on the brew!

  • @sexybisquit thanks a lot for your kind words !

  • very nice, you must be enjoying some very well writting music for a life time, i'm 42 years old , been listen to genesis since i was 5. sad cant see them live anymore, ty for your performance, and also for staying on tract to the sounds, very very nice good for you.

  • Finally they're inducted into the Rock 'n Roll Hall of Fame. FUSE Channel on March 15th 2010 LIVE from the Waldorf Astoria in NYC- DON'T MISS IT -- GENESIS LIVES FOREVER !!

:-) merci beaucoup encore...

  • thanks a lot !!

  • grazie mille a te! :-)

  • Two days ago we watched The Watch. You'll know them I guess. Was a great performance I even recorded some vids on my mobile. Check my channel.

For you guys I think you play the Genesis songs more precise. I agree with GiuseppeGazerro You really deserve a better theater and a better audience. 9:18 is a bit strange isn't it.. The Music of Genesis is GREAT! and everyone who puts effort in playing it like you deserves RESPECT!

  • yes we know The Watch..they're a very good band and of course we respect them and i'm sure they do the same... how i envy them for their organization and management and because the play a lot ehhhh....:-)...mmm.. you find 9.18 a bit strange? ..mmm i don't know..thanks a lot for your respect and for commenting and watching...!! :-)

  • What a treat!! You guys take a beautiful, yet technically difficult song and make it look EASY!! (though I know it's not) As usual your percussion was outstanding, and Bruno was in GREAT voice that night! The Audiance is not really appreciating how tough this music is!!

  • ehhh thanks as usual BIG... :-)

  • Genesis would be proud of you

  • ahhhhh..oh my god...that would be nice !!! at least we try to do our best for not offending them..ahhhh..thank you so much!! :-)

  • That was terrific... The audience doesn't do you justice!!

  • thank you so much !!!

  • You commented on my drum cover of this a few days ago, and I have finally had the chance to watch your version!

Wonderful stuff guys! Very accomplished. I have seen lots of Genesis Tributes, including Musical Box, and I think you guys are great.

Impressed at how relaxed your drummer is during this. As you saw from my video, I tend to be a lot more physical! Was that a fag hanging out of his mouth? How relaxed is that lol!

    Good stuff :-)

  • thanks a lot for your generous comment... :-)..well ..yes that was a fag..it became famous and very criticized...ehhhh..actually not elegant by my side, but the venue and the audience were so informal..ahhh..yes i usually play relaxed.. i finally learnt to play this way after many years..when i can hear what i'm playing there's no need to be phisical..this sometimes happens when i play in a little club, when electric instruments put a wall of sounds on me !!!... thanks again !!

  • great!

    you deserve much better theatres

  • Well done guys!

  • @kc0dxf thank you !!

  • You guys have it down pretty well...genesis has been a favourite of mine since i was 14 years old and went to see them many, mnay times...i am impressed with your group...

  • thanks a lot bud!! :-)

  • Very nice...keep up the good work...the Seconds Out version drumming can be somewhat more difficult to cover because both Collins and Bruford played on the middle and end instrumental sections - but the drummer here captured it well (for just being one drummer)...kudos to all the musicians and vocalists here...

  • very glad you liked the way i tried to cover Phil and Bill..thanks a lot for your appreciation!!

  • @gardenwall07 ...you're welcome...

Do you know the sticking pattern (right hand, left hand) of Phil's drumming on the studio/SEBTP version? I can do the time signature - it's the specific pattern that I don't know...

I really admire Phil's 70's drumming - sometimes it sounded like his sticks were "dancing" in his hands...of course, Bill himself was technically proficient...I had read that he was not fond of Genesis music...

  • sorry bud ..i can read music but i find more difficult writing..it took me time and dedication that currently i don't have..try to learn it by ear..it's not so hard as pattern though wonderful !!..phil in the 70's was an incredible drummer...bill has always been acid and critic..but nowdays he admit that then he was young and a bit arrogant and now he gives genesis the right value...

  • @gardenwall07 ...thanks for your response...most of my own sticking patterns tend to include a bridge (to produce what I call a "rolling rhythm")...one particular pattern involves inverted paradiddles...one reason I can't readily define Phil's sticking (on the studio version) is that - at his low volume playing - his snare sounded similar to his hi-hat and cymbal...you confirmed what I had sensed about Bill's (previous) attitudes - but I appreciate his (attitude)change(s)...thanks, again...

  • great job on this guys. too bad the venue you were at wasn't so appreciative.

  • thank you so much...!

  • Genesis forever !

  • I appreciate any band covering Genesis Classic Early tunes but this reminds me of Spinal Tap playing at the US AIRFORCE BASE- The audience looks like a retirement party for the CEO of some cheap plastics company- Good Job though

  • thanks!

  • PERFECT. THANKS.

  • mercie beaucoup !!

  • thanks for the advice dear gardenwall... the drummer, yes is certain that I always have the need of writing... is because I become appasionated when of Genesis is about to talk...!

I ll try to write less , but let me tell you that I am impressed with gardenwall band...

I don t belong here....!

  • man this is good stuff i realy enjoyed listenin to it as much as the original ..

  • thank you so much bud..so glad you appreciated.. :-)

  • Cavolo! Bravissimi e complimenti! La mia canzone ultrastrapreferita! :)

  • beh..grazie mille :-)

    saludos.

  • muchas gracias !! :-)

  • Beautiful. Finally I can listen to a band which respectfully and faithfully sings and plays Genesis. You are a great band, and my mind goes back to those fantastic years. You make me feel so young, you make me dream, Garden Wall! But why do those silly people talk, instead of listenining?

  • i can see you're young enough!! 30years! ehhhhh..anyway we appreciated your words a lot!! thank you so much!! :-)

  • Actually. I am 44!

  • I five starred this vid all the way:)

  • Absolutely fantastic. Prog on man. One of the best renditions I've seen. I think is that good, that is going to my Genesis w/out Gabriel play list.

  • wow!!! this is such an honor to us ..thank you so much!! :-)

  • really clean and great cover however you just really invent in a mellotron or at least a portable oen because the keyboard isnt really meant for this the rest of it was spot on and perfect thou....bass tone was sooooo good!!!

  • hey bud..thanks a lot for your comment..concerning the mellotron..mmm i don't remember if our keyboardist had a version of M-TRON or some sample of mellotron that night..but anyway as you can see, you don't have to pay too much attention to the sound you hear from our clips..it's horrible and recorded with the cam mic..so you can't expect nothing better unfortunately...

    :-)...thanks again..

  • ANOTHER EXCELLANT RENDITION!!!! Thank you for keeping Genesis alive!!! Your vocals are GREAT, and your keyboards guy, WOW!!! The k=board solo was truly a phenom! Do you guys have any CD's out?? Love to have some of your stuff to go!!

  • dear bud...thanks a lot for your appreciation.. :-) ...no..we have no cd out..but you can download for free the dvd of all our show of the lamb lies down on broadway.. if you are interested send a p.m. .. :-)

  • complimenti veramente bravi

  • grazie mille :-)
