  • Nope

  • Nowhere near 280.....

  • Tim Yeung..

Around 260bpm but no double pedals, he kicks ASS!

One of the most impressive drummers of the last decade..

Check Youtube for "Facebreaker Jam Session" or "Divine Heresy Jam Session"

(I only listen to the Jam Sessions because I hate the singer. Yeung needs a GREAT Band to play with and no Phil Anselmo-wannabes as vocalists..)

  • ffs this is exactly how thease axis/triggers drummers do, and when they play live you can't hear the bassdrum worth shit becuase your just tabbing the bass drum head. get a new method for your feat, get more power and you will like it alot more :)

  • @GustiYukimura1995 Thank you for the advice:D

  • @GustiYukimura1995 If he was triggering, you would be able to hear it.

  • Hey guys, plz check my new drumsolo: Ham Jam, Sam!

plz tell me what u think! I need ur opinions as musicians.....thx!

  • you know, a normal blastbeat has 330 bpm. so this isn't that fast

  • @Nobody5599 Nobody has played blasts 330 bpm :)

  • I really don't like the Axis pedals... I prefer my Pearl Eliminator Demon Drive.

  • U can blast double bass but u can't even keep a beat.

  • what the pedals are you playing?

  • Axis Longboards. Figures.

  • good job man how much wer those pedals

  • Shitty... FULL STROKES BUDDY, so the crowd can actually hear your bass. Once you do that it'll sound much tighter. And none of you disagree with me, George K. has even mentioned this many times, along with many other pro drummers.

  • @SirLongBongFatRipps u are clueless.extreme metal drumming=triggers or no sound at all.THIS IS what kollias said.

  • @sicmaggoter Kollias doesn't use triggers...

  • @Lastshadow94

search kollias about triggers and watch the video.in the first 20 secs, kollias says,"IN DEATH METAL ,WE USE TRIGGERS.IF YOU DONT USE TRIGGERS,U CANT PLAY"

WTF,DONT TALK ABOUT SOMETHING YOU ARE CLUELESS ABOUT.

  • @sicmaggoter So, before you start trying to be all smart and call other people idiots and such, maybe you should watch the rest of the video, where he explains that triggers are used so that you can make a smaller motion with the beater and still get a full sound. He then proceeds to play at full speed with the beater almost coming back to hit the top of his foot, getting a full sound WITHOUT TRIGGERS.

What was that you were saying about talking about things you were clueless about?

  • @Lastshadow94 U are fucking idiot, rly.I met kollias irl, twice, talked about all these.HE OFFCOURSE USES TRIGGERS,LISTEN ANY NILE CD.IF U EVER ACTUALLY PLAYED ANY DRUMS,u would be ABLE to tell its triggered,VERY EASILY.actually,u dont EVEN HAVE to play drums to recognise a triggered sound.but then again, some ppl are too retarded even for this.

  • @sicmaggoter My, my, excitable fellow, aren't you? You apparently can't remember any conventions of grammar, and quite a few of spelling, while we're at it. After some further research, I will concede that he uses them live. However, I'm pretty sure that's only because they get lost when he's BLASTING, not when he's playing at high speed.

  • @Lastshadow94 oh,now i feel sad.at least im able to understand vids at your own birth language, while u dont even get to recognise my language.gtfo now

  • @sicmaggoter What?

  • kollias´s technique?

  • 280 bpm?? bullshit!

  • @maikweinhardt well what the fuck? Go check it with a metronome. It is 280bpm

  • why so many dislikes?... he'd done good, camera sucks and so quality is bad... but good tecnique and speed...

  • I'm sure 900 dollar pedals with no heel plates help a crapload. . . lol

  • @ACompetitiveHalo yes they do haha i got axis al2's aswell and they help you get alot faster but then you can go faster on other pedals after practicing on them so can sell them after =P

  • @ACompetitiveHalo Only like 600, actually, Axis are pretty cheap for the quality.

  • @niqitoa7x Patch of REMO.

  • I wanted to tell you that all my thoughts and prayers are for japan's people. This earthquake should have never hit japan (or any other country for that matter) and i mourn for your people's losses :|. I hope you and your family are ok and I know that japan will endure and recover fully from that tragic disaster :|

Watashi wa burugariadesuga, Nippon wa watashi no kokoro no naka ni aru

  • you're taping

  • @AllInDrummer Thank you for the comment! Could you teach me your play style?

  • @extremedr76 it's not mine .... it's called ankle motion (which works for me atleast) developed by george kollias i suppose but whatever... my point is that whatever speed you play you should try make it sound decent and as loud as possible - the bass drum is not something you should tickle, right? ;) I think more drummer especially here on youtube should start thinking more about sound rather than speed. You're actually doing pretty good Kenichiro kun :)

  • @AllInDrummer .... and i am the last one to be teaching :)

  • @AllInDrummer I also think so!:D

  • @DissYraiN My main language is Japanese.

  • it's pretty amazing to see your drumming at bpm280!

i remember those days when we were jamming and practicing at

    the studio in osaka!:D

  • Not bad but u need to practice more.

  • @toyotadrummer Sure!

  • Hahahah you got the same shoes as George kollias :D:D!

  • @Orreborrekorre It's surprise:D

  • What technique do you use to play so fast/powerful? I'm truly impressed!

  • @XXtremeDrummer I use technique is tapping for the boards!

  • Nice Job!!

    ArcOndA

  • Pretty good although when your hitting the bass at those speeds it sure is hard to get any power....

  • @DrivenBlack It apologizes very much that the reply slows. Thank you for advice. It is very glad. My best regards in the future.

  • @extremedr76 are you referring to yourself as "it"?

  • @DrivenBlack "It" is "I. "Now while being studying English. I have made a mistake. Thank you for pointing out the mistake.

  • @extremedr76 No problem bro, good luck with the English studies.

  • @DrivenBlack Thanks bro. Hereafter, I will study the drum and English.

  • @extremedr76 What is your main language? I am just curious.
