Ok, i'm definitely a music snob, which is why i frequently find myself unimpressed by most modern/contemporary Jewish music, but these guys (or at least homeboy w/ the electric) actually come close to alleviating my concern. Now they just need a rockin bass player and a drummer that bangs. I mean really, if your playing in a venue w/ smoke machines, you should be able to open it up and have an actual musical conversation during the solo section, not just sound like an unoriginal drum machine...
