  • hola! your soo crazy awesome, i cant believe you have that much yarn! im jealous loll! & i have a few questions, im planning on making my first sweater and was wondering what size circular needles should i buy and if the chunky type of yarn is the best way to go with sweaters? or it doesnt matter? loll i just want it to be warm! by the wayi love your hello kitty slippers loll

  • @swiminthissilense Hola! :-) I had to recently put myself on a yarn diet because I have way too much and need to use them up before I buy anymore. It's over 5 yrs of stash.

I've never made a sweater before but will be taking on the task of knitting one in the new year. So I'm actually limited to giving you a good answer to your question. But in terms of chunky weight yarn, they do go well with certain styles of sweaters. Lion Brand has tons of chunky sweater patterns on their website.

  • Could you please do a video on how you made those hearts and the bow I really like those and would love to learn how to make them.

  • @TOOCHOCLATE50 Sure, the heart is actually a copyright pattern that doesn't allow me to do a tutorial :-( But the bows are a personal design that I will gladly do a tutorial on for you. I'll also check out other heart patterns and embellishments and do a video on those as well.

  • when u say stash ppl gonna think u talking aobut Weed...lol...

  • @ceejayluke Not if you're a KNITTER Chris. LOL!

  • So sry!!! I didn't mean to dislike this video!!! I accidentally presses the button!!!

  • I just sent you a video of how I store my stash. It's insane! It's only gotten worse since the video, esp. because I spin now, so I have acculated a lot of fiber/roving to make my own yarn.

I have also "Liked" you on FB. You can find me under Angel Posadas-Miller and see my work:) TFS!!!

  • @angel619SD Yes, I watched it. Thanks so much for sharing that with me. I felt like I was at Michaels when you showed your yarn stash. LOL! Your etsy shop Card Creations and Yarn Sensations is beautiful. Everything is gorgeous. I heart the baby hats. All the best with you move also. I know that's not fun during these winter months.

God bless and be on the look out for my shop later this year too!

  • @CraftDknits Hi there! I won't be moving to Cali til the summer...so I think it will be worst in the summer because it gets so hot and humid in NC, which I don't do well under. Thank you for the compliment! I actually have another shop which is my main shop now under Angel619BabyTreats which is under construction so I can add new items, and to rest my arms/wrists/hands. I work ALL day for both shops, so it takes a toll! You do GREAT WORK!!! LOVE! I look fwd to more vids from you!

  • @angel619SD In fact I'm loving all your hats and headwarmers. These are absolutely gorgeous! Expect and order from me soon!

  • @CraftDknits Thank you so much! Crochet is my forte, knitting is secondary, and then I love Paper, just as much, lol. Yeah, my stash has gotten worse, lol, and then I spin on top off that. So by next year, I can sell my handspuns which I mainly do bulky thick/thin textures for baby items. You can check more of my work on FB if you get the chance:)

  • That's a nice video on how you store your stash. It will give me an idea how to keep my knit and crochet acessories organized. My stash is in one place. I have 3 bags of yarn that I stash in the 2 bags. More is stacked in plastic bags on top of the bags. I keep my extra acessories for knit/ crochet together. Such as needles, hooks, ruler etc. I will keep watching your videos. Thanks.

  • @knit44 Thank you for your support! Your stash seems pretty organized too.

  • i would LOVE to have that much yarn

  • @MELVINMEM :-)

  • all my knitting and otherwise crafty stuff is just scattered all around my room lol i'm a mess

  • @lilmizweasley I completely understand. I had mine in various places until I moved back home. This is a recent fix. LOL!

  • Hi Dana Love the video! You have quite a stash. i was thinking of doing a video for my stash too, maybe I will now. YES I would love for my yarn to stored the same way, That would be so awesome.

  • @onevirtuouswoman Oh yeah, I think you should because it gives others ideas. I'd love to see how your store your stash. I'm doing my best not to let my stash overflow beyond what it is now. I really need to knit these things up and fast. LOL!

  • @CraftDknits ok I will do it, but I must warn you my stash is not quite in order as yours. Its kind of overwhelming, I dont need to buy anymore yarn, but you kno when you see yarn you just cant help it. stay tuned for it

  • Thank you ladybug!!!
