A lot of what they do in this clip doesn't fit this definition. Other than that, perhaps it's because of the French rap or because haters gonna hate...

@Specht98 I've talked to a few parkour guys and they told me that free running is a type of sport that doesn't envolve flips. Parkour is the "trick" one. Now if you want to get down to history free running was created by the french to help the military traverse rough terrain without using a lot of energy. I don't know for sure but I don't think a french military man is going to be traveling across rough terrain doing front flips and back flips off of rock to travel safely and efficently!

First use common sence parkour is a french word, free running is english. what does common since tell you the french military used? second David Belle founded Parkour which he heard about from his dad who saw it used in a war to get supplies to troups. at the time it didnt have a name yet. then he and sabastian foulcan did it together growing up. then belle founded parkour and foulcan founded free running which he said was expressing yourself like with tricks
