  • Can anybody tell me where the location of that building is that was suppose to be the location for Quantum Leap's headquarters or if it has a name? Why?I think I remember seeing it in another t.v. series when I was a kid, a t.v. series called Buck Rogers if I remember right?

  • @ifyoucatchmydriftbud New Mexico

  • where is "rock"?

  • wow there making 80s tv show in movie maybe they can tim allen to do something like this .

  • Oh man, the rock version doesn't even compare to the graceful piano/horn one.

Saludos

  • @BaronNocturno

    OK Muchas Gracias!

    Hace Mucho Que Lo Buscaba!!

    De verdad Gracias Man!

  • Need to be someone unknown,. No Aaron Eckhart, Christain Bale, Ed Norton, Michael Keaton, Kevin Spacey, to Joh Cusack, However, I can't think of someone, myself.

  • im 18 i saw this so many times on tv my fav tv shows are dukes of hazzard especially chips

  • The effort in this is awesome.. However, I personally think the clips are too long, and too slow for the music. This did not stop me, though, from rocking out to it 7 times.

  • Where's the thumbs up at the end?

  • I prefer this more upbeat version of the theme. As for the vid: one part of Quantum Leap title starts scrolling in and is cut off; the part at 53, where Sam is Jimmy on the forklift, is too long and doesn't fit as well. The shot of Sam when mentioning Scott Bakula is great; and the other lines/light moving horizontally around the logo are good (and when the logo zooms towards the screen).

  • @GratedTopping well those shots are from the original season one intro

  • er i mean starship n.n;

  • isnt he the captain of the tarship enterprise now?

  • Yes, he is. But he was at his best as Sam Beckett. Ah, childhood memories.

  • I miss that show :( The last episode made me cry :(

  • Quality tv series that actually had a help they fellow man message which makes a change from from all the negativity you find in other lesser dramas.

  • Awesome version of the theme. I remember first hearing it when the 5th season was reran on USA way back in the day. Just a quick question. Is it still in use on the 5th season DVD set? Haven't been able to find it at a decent price around where I live so if anyone could help with that it would be great. Also, do you have a MP3 recording of this tune and if so could you send it to me? That would be great.

  • yes, they used this intro theme on the 5th season dvd set...kinda disappointed me...I like the original better

  • they should remake this series using the guy who acts as nathan Patrelli in heroes

  • na, they should make a movie with scott bakula and end sams story properly, like with more of an upbeat ending...sam leaping home, or leaping into Captain Archer.

  • good

  • I liked the origanal theme better

  • I am longing for a Quantum Leap movie..Aaron Eckhart, Christian Bale, and Edward Norton are three solid candidates for Sam Beckett and Michael Keaton or Kevin Spacey as Al! Does anyone else see this being awesome? Expand Gushie's role and cast Philip Seymour Hoffman! Feedback please!

What do all the other QL fans think?

  • Honestly, if there was going to be a Quantum Leap movie. I'd rather see Scottie B and Dean Stockwell playing those characters. Mainly because they were awesome, i don't think i could take an interpretation from someone else. If it was to be someone else... John Cusack as Sam and Christopher Lloyd as Al.

  • Fair enough man, but at the same time you have to remember and I hate to say it but age plays a big factor in this man. So that's why I don't think the original cast would work as well but it'd be great to have them in cameo roles. Either way I long for this project!

  • John Cusack would be almost perfect, I don't know who Cristopher Lloyd is though.

  • Christopher Lloyd..He played Doc Brown in Back to the Future or Judge Doom in who framed Roger Rabbit..

  • Ooooh, yeah I remember, thanks.

  • @Costanza632 or the dude who screamed I WAS FROZEN TODAY in suburban commando lol

  • @Costanza632 Well it is confirmed by Scott B that they are making a movie, YEAH. But he and Dean wont be in it...

Just search on google, Scott Bakula Announces 'Quantum Leap' Movie ... Minus Scott Bakula

  • @TheJyscalator Cristopher Lloyd is Doctor Emmit Brown from Back to the Future Movies, Also Reverend Jim from Taxi.

  • @TheJyscalator He was the guy who played Doc Brown in the Back to the Future movie series and in the toon version of the series.

  • @Costanza632 Yeah. To most QL fans Scott B and Dean Stockwell wouldbe the first and last actors for those characters, but I would like to see a QL movie starring Nick Cage as Sam and John Travola as Al.

  • probablemente, pero por que pensar en esas posiciones? ...me parece que al que quieren que se lo cojan es a ti, deja de pensar en eso por que el que juega con lumbre...

  • God, not christian bale. I mean i started out liking him. but now he is in everything. Id love to See Ed Norton in it though.

  • At this point I am more for Norton too man

  • @RonaldJoseCarlos And you are the King of the World

  • @eiviten I only wish, had I been King Of The World, Quantum Leap wouldn't have ended like it did and Scott and Dean would not age another minute!

  • @RonaldJoseCarlos With out Scott or Dean Why Bother?

  • @racefan32 There are plans for a movie but the original cast will not be re-prizing there role's as they are too old but they will play some part in the movie according to Scott Bakula at the 2010 San Diego Comic-Con!

  • @racefan32 It would be different without them in their original roles, but I think it could still be a good movie man, time will tell.

  • @RonaldJoseCarlos

phillip seymor hoffman as gushie would be excelent..! if the original cast couldn't do it...i'd go with hoffman/anthony hopkins as gushie, heath ledger would have been a good sam!... instead, i'll say sean penn as sam, daniel day lewis as al..

  • @RonaldJoseCarlos I personally hope they don't do a movie. they would completely ruin the series. especially with those options as the two leads. I'd be more up for it if they could get dean and scott back, but i'm sure that's almost impossible now (sadly). though I do agree with Costanza632 about Christopher Lloyd as Al. That's actually fitting....

  • @RonaldJoseCarlos i knew that i wasnt the only one who thought that aaron eckhart would be perfect for sam beckett, i also wouldnt mind danny devito playing as al. the role kind of suits him.

  • @RonaldJoseCarlos There is only two people to play Al and Sam and that is Dean Stockwell and Scott Bakula. No doubt about it!!!

  • @FattrollysChannel In a perfect world it would be because you could keep them the same age forever, but if you want to get a live action movie off the ground that's just not going to work man as much as it sucks to say that.

  • I actually prefer this theme tune to the original, which is rare.

I just think this intro packs more of a punch and makes the show a little more exiting.

  • so amazing. what an AMAZING theme too. i mean come ON people... just admit it. This show had it all.

  • is the best sci-fi show.

  • I am watching the show right now on DVD. It really is good. It's a SCI-FI show without too much SCI-FI in it. It's ten times better than Star Trek, and the funny thing is Scott Bakula, is in Star Trek: Enterprise and Al (Dean Stockwell) is in the new Battlestar Galactica. Those SCI-FI guys sure do get around.

  • "wow, this show was really gay"

    What do you know dreminemike.

  • The Best Sci Fi on NBC better than Star Trek!

  • This is the season i remember!!!

  • No it wasn't. In fact, it was rather succesful. It ran 5 years, 95 episodes, the two main characters were played by good actors, improving the quality, all four versions of the theme were good , viewing figures only drooped at the beginning of series three, the end of series four, and parts of series five, it was created by a good TV writer and the final series has just been released on DVD. This is probably one of the only sci fi programs worth watching, apart from the original Dr. Whos.

  • I belive the proper responce here is: Pwned!

    good responce, man :D

  • Well Technically dreminemike was only giving his opinion and SamBeckett94 was just stating facts this would not change dreminemike opinion so he wasn't really Pwned! anyway I thought the show was great.

  • well.. technically, yes... but that still doesn't change the fact that a string of accurate facts beats the everliving daylights out of "This show was really gay"... which, while an opinion, offers no rhyme, or reason, or basis for this opinion.. while SamBeckett94 offers his opinion and several supportign facts for it. So, thusly, I stand by it: Pwned :3

And the show was awesome :D

  • And "Gay" is not a synonom for "Bad".

  • does it make any direrence that this show was gay or not?

  • hey dont be dissing QL >..<

  • i love this "rock" version of the theme
