  • How can a back draft possibly happen to a fully SELF VENTED FIRE like at0:55? A backdraft comes from a fire with no vents and no oxygen.

  • @DTMRM8 any fire contained within a structure has the potential to have venting issues. clearly the house at 0:55 had trouble getting enough oxygen to feed the fire.

even a brush pile can run into venting issues depending on how the fuel is arranged in the fire and what the weather is doing.

  • no offense to TH0000R but that is a backdraft not a flashover

  • superbe explication

  • omfg!

    thats hard

  • wtf is the voice on the video saying?

  • It explains what a backdraft (or more known as flashover in France) actualy is

  • If youre ever fighting a fire, keep an eye out for pulsing smoke/gases, ESPECIALLY brown-ish smoke. These are clear indicators that a backdraft is about to occur. STAY SAFE!
