  • so wonderful- he's on twitter too should you wish to join him. Last night during a storm I could hnot sleep and one of the vids I watched during the storm was this one with the wonderful Neil Diamond. Barely into my teens Solitary Man had my heart. I woke up to see the news that Davy Jones of the Monkees passed on.... Neil sings I'm a Believer so I came today to listen again. RIP Davy and to you ND lives in my heart forever, for his music and the vast audience he has touched through the decades.

  • and this post came up just like a lightbulb i needed to hear this! (thanks for sharing)

  • wonderfull love him

  • Good, very good really.. the most human, funny and sweet interview I've never seen..

Marvelous audience as well, just as Neil Daimond deserves.

Fantastic Neil in all his comments, and when singing.

Very nice Neil forever and ever....

from Madrid-SPAIN I want to send you my very best wishes.

  • Wow, Amazing. I am, I said. The most emotion I've ever seen from him. I wish he would have finished it. His phrasing stunned me from....new york city born and raised to the end. Amazing how he sang the word "lost".....it collasped out of his mouth.

  • Oops - Love Neil D, but damn is he boring in interview!

  • yum

  • The best singer/songwriter ever!

  • What a fantastic interview! God gave so much to us the day Neil Diamond was born!

  • This man touches the heart like no other!

  • Very sweet

  • So excellent of a man...God has blessed him in special ways...gifts only from heaven above....thanks for this video....

  • i love this man...when i was at school i remember watching the albums cover in the shop window and dreaming abt this hansome man with a heavenly voice.....God bless u mr neil diamond......ur my first crush with a dream voice even now....:)

  • Neil Diamond is a person full of love and passion who can reach us people out there. He is not only a living legend but an extraordinary human being. I hope he will sing for us for many years still.

  • Justin Beaver just need learn about this man. He is a living legend.

  • he reaches out with his soul and touches our souls

  • Such a warm emotional man...A true star

  • I don't think he was pretending. really and truly.. And at the end when he sang the first verse of "I am I said" he had tears in his eyes. I even started to tear up. One of his most endearing qualities is how humble he is. Oh I know, at times, he gets carried away and says things like in "the last waltz" he said, "well, I'm only going to do one song, but I'm going to do it good". THe song was "Dry your eyes". good song

  • Out standing - I would freak out to be put on the spot and at his age. How old do you think he is. 70? Pretty amazing, Neil We love you.

  • great!

  • Neil is so moving to talk about his life, and cute when he pretends not to

remember the music of I'm a believer.... He's got the audience singing along,

Just Love him.........And also says he can't play the guitar when he's asked to sing

    Forever in Bluejeans......

  • @TheDiamond262 I am sure Neil is NOT pretending when he says he doesnt remember the chords to some of his songs...He is pricipally a singer..and his nickname, given to him when he recorded 12 Songs was "Basher"...this, Neil says, was how the other guitarists describe Neils way of playing. I have played guitar for over 40 years...seen Neil live many times...and he FREQUENTLY plays the wrong chords...great SINGER..but poor guitarist.
