the werehog is stupid, I got the demo for this game and it seemed sick but thats because there was no werehog, if they wanted to add more combat they should have just put knuckles into this game, and allowed him to be his regular climbing, gliding, badass self, rather than making sonic into a fat wolf.

They're only in the 360 and PS3 versions. Getting all the sun medals unlocks Shadow for the daytime stages and getting all the moon medals unlocks Knuckles for the nighttime stages.

The daytime levels are very fun, but the werehog levels really suck and don't belong in a Sonic game. They're like a God of War ripoff for kids. They're also unnecessarily long and frustrating.

It is a very fun game, I like both Day and Night, if there wasnt a different style of gameplay, then what would be the difference between the new games and the old games? It has to change sometime... and our sometime was like 10 years ago...

The difference would be that this game is 3D, super fast, and in HD, and that it has side stepping and drifting. There's nothing wrong with changing a franchise to keep it interesting but filling the game up with gameplay from a completely different genre is just stupid.

Yea the games prabably gonna be great but one thing the latest sonic games lacked which made it more fun and addictive are the choas(the little blue creatures not sure how to spell it). Most newer sonic games have just a story mode. However, in sonic adventure 1 & 2 once you were done you could go ahead and have fun raising choas and have competitions and such. In my opinion they should add choas again and make an achievement system for them so players can have a better gaming experince.

Do yourself a favor and get Sonic the Hedgehog 2 (it's in XBLA and Wii Virtual console and the Sega Genesis if you have that). It's probably the best Sonic game. It came out in '92 and showed a lot of what the Genesis was capable of. This game... well... it looks all right, but definitely try Sonic 2.

It'll probably be good, you're right. But JUST good and not great or memorable. The day time will probably be awesome and the night will be ho-hum. BUT THAT'S THE PROBLEM!!! People are content on settling for something less than great and so companies will never try to make something great, instead they'll make forgettable mediocre games with novelties (GoW rip-off gameplay) because people will buy them.

I understand that it has day time where it's just like classic sonic where you are running around and yada yada yada, but there is this watered down wannabe god of war crap tacked on to make this Sonic game try to have something "new and fresh" about it. All they need to do is reimagine the old sonics and not put stupid shit like this in it, it kills the flow. Remember Sonic Adventure and those stupid fucking cat stages?
