in my Dutch version the poetic edda it translates the bit johan talked about for Doom over Dead men (hávamál verse 72) with Judgement over Dead men. I know the 2 terms are quite similar, but its a significant difference to me. Anyone with an icelandic or any scandinavian edda who can tell me what it says there?

In a Burzum song, a very similar line lyric is written. "Friends die, faeiries die, you will die the same, but Odin's Splendor will never die in honorable posthumous fame."

Kind of weird. Might be a translation error or a manipulated line.

This album has a very strong meaning to it. Each song appears to be a strong, meaningful song in it's own way, and sounds devastating in the process.

Also notice how almost every Amon Amarth release there is one or two songs that are very deep and almost melodic?

Across the Rainbow Bridge - The Hero - Embrace the Endless Ocean - Fate of Norns - Under the Northern Star... I tend to appreciate these songs a lot more then others. ESPECIALLY Under the Northern Star.
