Hmm, is there a way I can draw a shape, EG a curved doorhandle (like with splines), but then instead of creating a 3D "outline" of the shape, it actually allows me to extrude the shape into a solid object. I tried the door handle thing, but instead of a doorhandle, I ended up with a donut, in the form of a doorhandle.

Select any objects after that go to modifiers find "mirror" then click it of course..

after that.. look at the parameters then you will see a "[ ] Copy"

try using camtasia as a recorder :D its HD and it doesnt have touchy hotkeys. btw it comes with a cool basic editing suite.

what screen recording program are you using? generally most have an option menu for hotkeys. you would use that menu to change it so a differnt key is used to stop recording.

@eleths I'm not sure exactly because I'm new to this (why I'm watching :P), but I think the main difference is that the attach command in this video is only for splines, whereas the group command is for every type of object.
