Putting the five 9/11 Gitmo detainees on trial in open court in NY could backfire big time on the BO administration.

The Saudi Government could get behind these guys (overtly or covertly) and supply all the financial resources needed to investigate, gather evidence, and hire the best attorneys available. Reasons - defend Saudi honor and Islam by showing in court 9/11 was an inside job by the US Government.
