  • I think they should've cut this scene and added the Swamp scene instead, it was here I felt it drag alot.

  • @Antibearvirus

completely agree. Its a rediculous scene anyway. should have cut this along with about another hour of the movie i recon. Two other scenes should have been chopped as well. the incredibly dull and stupid scene with the heard of brontasaurus, and the scene when ann darrow does juggling and the egyptian dance routine for Kong. Sheesh!

    ATVmidlands UK

  • @ATVmidlands5581 Yeah, those as well, but c'mon keep the Brontosaurus scene, that one was awesome!

  • @Antibearvirus

it was over long in my opinion and how could carl denham possibly survive that stampede! LOL. The first appearance of Kong was a major let down too comapred to the original. There were some high spots tho to be fair. I loved the look of 1930s NY and also when Kong escapes in the auditorium rippings the seats out etc.

  • @Antibearvirus Talking to me? Who's "they"? If you are referring to my vid, well you're entitled to your own opinion but I thought it turned out pretty well. And it was a long time ago that I made this. This day and age I'd have probably made it better, tho I don't make vids really much anymore.

  • Ok nevermind I misunderstood (don't feel like reading a zillion replies). As far as the movie goes I do agree some parts were dragged waaaaaaaaaaay too much. The movie didn't have to be as long as it did.

  • R.I.P Kong

  • king kong.....huge dick....lady...ass...dosen't fit in...too big

  • it's a different take, but nice. Thanks. I LOVE Central park. Andy Serkis did a great job with the character. While there was a lot of digital slight of hand, the performance brought the character to life in ways CGI couldn't have managed without a good actor at the helm!

  • this is extremely stupid... what don't you put the original music of this scene, as it is extremely beautiful ??? even more again

  • @MisterBark Because I was making a music video using a diff song, duh! And if you read the caption about it, you'd know it's the same composer, diff movie.

  • @lisardo I know that lol I don't think I can find a track I didn't listen from him ;)

  • @lisardo don't worry I know the composer ;) lol just the best ever :-p

  • @lisardo

    just ignore that idiot seriously!

  • @lisardo

I understand what you did...this is great too and also fits the video quite well...GOOD job !!!!!

  • @musicsoothesusall Thank you very much!

  • in the end:

"it was beauty who killed the beast"

no it was you dumbass >_>

  • @MetalicFlames You need to see the original to understand that part more. In the original 1933 version, Jack was a tough sailor who hated women, not a wimpy playwright as in Jackson's version. When he got to know Ann, he "cracked, went sappy" as Denham explained to him, and he went on a bit more about it. So by the end of the film, that's what the "Twas beauty killed the beast" was referring to (this concept was omitted from Jackson's version...making the ending line with no connection).

  • Uno tra i più bei film mai visti!!!!!

  • From what you had to work with,I say.....good job.

Leave it to Peter Jackson to put back in this story what Dino De Laurentiis left out of it.

  • @ctdsnark

    like watchability

  • i love this movie especialy at the end why they killed king kong me crying :((((,they have no gurts they killed with war planes while king kong fighting with his hands.,too bad

  • Wonderful and lovely video

    Great music

    Thanks

  • Piękny film - ARCYDZIEŁO !!

  • This is a pleasant video. King Kong was a good movie. Yet I dare say I've never seen the original version. :/

  • This came from Peter Pan.... not the cartoon version....

  • @bochachi25 Exactly! If you read the info about it, you'll see it's the same composer who did Peter Pan (2003) and King Kong (2005). That's part of the reason why I did it, also because the music from that scene in Peter Pan was really good and moving.

  • This scene reminds me of me and a loved one... that does not know i love her :(

  • is beautiful!!!!!

  • This song is from the peter pan movie and is called Fairy Dance. It fits so great to this movie ;) Great job :D

  • How the fuck does the ice not break when he's on it?

  • it's not that deep so it's probably frozen all the way through

  • Yes it was :(

i wish they made him live on like the Bonus Level on Peter Jacksons King Kong

  • It's a tragedy, it's supposed to be sad. It allows a message to be set in better.

On topic; The quality of this was awful, and the music was just too... slow.

  • Uh yeah, that's what happens when you don't have the actual video clips and have to download a crappier quality.

  • Then get the video clips...

  • "I'll believe in anything" by wolf parade would be a perfect song for another kong/anne video.

  • It's an inncocent, unconditional kind of love.....:) cute

  • bad quali

  • same song as in peter pan

    ice dance

    fairy dancw

  • I love that in this movie, Anne actually liked King Kong instead of just running away from him screaming, like the other ones..BEAUTIFUL video, but the way!

  • lol calm down, it's just a movie! it's not supposed to be real!

  • No, it is NOT "just" a movie. At least it was not meant to be.

The original is a masterpiece. And this could have been if it were not for scenes like these.

  • "These scenes" were movie magic.

  • @Moseslawgiver if Kong is a giant ape, you're a giant idiot. If you want a horror movie you can go watch one there's a lot of them. This is not a romantic comedy, it's an adventure movie that contains a beautiful and tragic love story which has nothing to do with hormones. And this love story is what raises the movie above the level of mere entertainment for dumbasses like you.

  • @DiegoElArbol @DiegoElArbol Well, as a lifelong fan of the superior 1933 original, I think I have far greater taste than you.

In fact, I have seen and praised most classic films, and write prolific reviews of films over on IMDb.com.

I do not see a movie for "mere entertainment" as you think I do. I watch motion pictures for pathos, for realistic drama, for suspense, for a well written screenplay. I find that in Hitchcock and the works of Cecil B. DeMille, but in this film, I find none of it.

  • @LadyVader66 actually she loves him just as much as he does. When he's destroying the city, she doesn't worry about the damage he can do, she worries about him. This is the most beautiful love story I've ever seen in a movie.

  • @LadyVader66 Thank you so much! I tried very hard to capture the emotional element between both Anne and Kong.

  • @LadyVader66 - Kong is supposed to be both scary and tragic, not cute and lovable.

  • @LadyVader66 Thank you very much!

  • This is so great!! You chose so well the scenes! ;_______; Great work you did! Their love is beyond our comprehension! <3

  • i think she only ever saw him as a sort of friend... a big smelly agressive friend. But he loved her... she wasn't scared to say no means no or i don't like that. She was there when he needed her and he was there when she needed him. It was a doomed love and he knew it but he loved her too much. He just didn't want it to end without her. And so he died of a broken heart. because he needed her.

  • There's allways been the kind of shallow, perspective-lacking, tainted-soul human being out there who wants to take away the beauty and innocence from Kong & Ann's relationship. To hear some loser say that their relationship is anything but wonderful makes me ill. This is the same type of person who struggles with his own character, due to his own lustful perversion. Don't take away from a beautiful relationship like this, due to your own shallow perversion. Dumbass loser.

  • you + comment = fucktard

  • No, monkey like that woman, shes not in love with it, she just doesn't want it 2 be killed and hi's here friend!

Why are you searching for this anyway then if u have nuthing good 2 comment?

    TOMB UP FOR ME!

  • Shinnam, don't try to put sense into the hormonal little girls.

  • Hey people, king kong loves her - like a kid loves a toy

with colors and lights... that's all. The giant ape is more like a child than a monster. It's not about love between man and woman, please !!!

  • @AlexxLuis omg and this comment go five thumbs up!!!!

  • It is love in a sense but not the kind of love that is between humans. I guess the best way to describe this is the love of an animal that is unconditional. An animal that has the power to destroy but tamed. Ann is the person who can control the beast at a point but Kong made the ultimate sacrifice its own life to protect the only love it ever known. Regardless one is human the other is a beast, they have formed a bond beyond man and in this case woman and beast.

  • its deffo more of a friendship relationship

kong and anne's stories are alarmingly similar though you wouldnt think it.

Kong has no one left, everyone in his family is gone, he's alone

Anne, at the start of the movie is in a similar situation, she has no one. She is alone

the two meet and they because of this common ground...I think thats why they click.

she means so much to him that he doesnt want her to be taken away from him..and she doesnt want him to leave either.

  • Also, I think she respects the fact that someone actually sticks by her thick and thin..even if it is in the form of a huge gorilla.

and in turn, I think kong respects the fact that someone sticks by him, even if it is in the form of a little human being...when she goes near him for protection, thats when it shifts, he respects her more and puts her on his shoulder rather than carrying her.

  • good point

  • -faggot-

  • Faggot for using my mind over my heart.

  • you obviously missed Peter Jackson's intent with the movie...dumbass

incaser you dont realize king kong was initially an allegory of the racial stereotypes in america of black men and the way they were seen and treated by white men.

you calling hima big dumb ape is just feeding that stereotype WELL DONE IDIOT

  • thw fact its an allegory shows you that Peter Jackson was not trying to make him just a simple ape.

Secondly he was communicating with her in the last scene or did you miss that?

are you aware that apes and chimps can actually talk to us through sign language? thats not typically animal like is it now?

  • @Moseslawgiver well you idiotic faggot, actually there are NO giant apes, at least this size. This is a fictional character, and it does have human-like feelings and emotions, may be purer and stronger. Actually this giant ape is way more emotional (and more intelligent?) than you

  • @DiegoElArbol Well, there were once. But you have to have passed Grade 6 before you can understand this fact.

I realise this is a fictional character more than anybody on here, as I said, I am a lifelong fan of the 1933 original and am outraged at Sir Peter Jackson changing a black ape-beast that was NOT a gorilla but instead the representation of the black man and his slavery, into an upscaled silverback that skates in Central Park.

Without racism, everything in the story makes no sense now.

  • @Moseslawgiver To a mind circumscribed by racism, it certainly wouldn't. There are other meanings out there in the world that are valuable.

  • @Moseslawgiver- Exactly. It's not about falling in love with a gorilla- it's about the fears of falling in love with a 'primitive'.

  • @Clois4evaAndeva actually Jack Driscoll also sticks by her... but she doesn't seem to care as much for him as for the gorilla

  • That is a very observational. I think you hit it on the head. Kong being the last of its kind was exploited which lead to its death due to a man's greed and love of fame. Which goes to prove man can do more evil than any savage beast.

  • Just because there not around humans doesnt make them feel nothing, please dude, open your mind

  • @JuniorProducer1996

They're animals. My mind is closed.

  • your mind is closed..they are animals yes, but the fact they use tools like no other animal indicates a great level of cleverness. They are genetically cose to humans, they show humanlike interaction with one another and other people..scientific reserach shows this. Its scientific reasearch against your ignorant hick brain. I think i'll listen to science over your OPINION

  • then use a crobar and open it

  • @JuniorProducer1996 he better keep it close. I'm afraid of what can jump from inside

  • @JuniorProducer1996 you forget the fact that he has no mind to open

  • good video very nice i like it thanks!!!!!!!!

  • Very lovely, harmonic and very well done!

  • I wept like a child when I saw this, just as I did when I was little during the 1976 version. I like the 1933 one, but I just don't have the attachment to it that I do to these two.

  • beautiful video. an amazing movie..and touching story between Kong and Ann..

and for your review Tkyo07, if you have seen the movie and think that is the worst ever, then you are totally blind. Its not like those two two are in love. They are best friends, thats why those two care and support eachother, that is so sweet. King Kong isnt bad as people think he are, he shows how great his heart is and is just like everyone else heart:D

  • "I have seen reviews that are questioning the "love story" between beauty and the beast, while no doubt it could look that way thats not what the point was... it was the companionship provided. Naomi Watts (Ann) never had anyone or anything for that matter not let her down this monster refused to, she could not believe that this huge ape was capable of doing what no person ever could...stand by her, she was not in love with the ape, she just respected the apes feelings towards her."

  • It was like the love of a dear pet. Great video thanks for making it

  • go eat rocks and rape a dog, twat.

  • u fuckin idiotic dumbass tkyo07 she doesnt make love to king kong u stupid asshole

  • Really lovely video.

  • That's not right.. The music is from "Peter pan", and it is called "Fairy dance"

  • I remember I cried when I saw the points of this movie that were really sad with King Kong in the movie theaters; especially the ending scene when he was shot off from the top of the Empire State Building and Naomi Watts was all sad.

  • by the way....naomi watts is amazing and extraordinary beautiful...

    great video!!!

  • mexicanoINC: plz, a little respect, this was a wonderful movie, Kong moves like a realistic ape, and if you want something realistic, go to walk in the street, live the life, cuz unreal movies are awesome, recreatives, too much reality ist boring, we need imagination

  • p.s good video and soundtrack is good from peter pan isn't it? you put it together well

    xx

  • why do people search the films they hate and then just write abuse about it? have you no better things to do with your time! but bitch and moan ffs get a fucking life you twats!

  • Sad that they diddnt leave king kong alone.. Argh.. :'/

  • I loved it,Peter jackson made yet another best movie.

  • this was a great movie wit awesome direction and it didnt only care bout visual effects, it just had good visual effects to go along wit an awesome movie. And this music kinda ruins it, sry

  • nu uh! it did have a plot he wanted to make a movie so he went to an island and it turned out to be inhabited by crazies and monsters, same story as the old king kongs practically

  • it was a beautiful film

    shame on you fool

  • this film was a materpiece and I love the soundtrack aswell.

  • you dont like it, its your right, but we like it

  • If it is really his right to not like it, why all the thumbs down?

    You gangs of little girls.

Funny that all you little girls that love it can't even start off a sentence with a capital letter.

  • His Right Not To Like THE Music

Our Right Not To Like His Comment

    BE a BIG Smart ASS

    somewhere else

    you Capital Jerk

  • king kong owns all

  • i luv this movie. gosh i cried so bad when they look into each others eyes and he dies and falls off. omg i was shaking

  • I cried like a baby when KingKong died:( It was so sad!!:( You did a great job with this vid, my complimants!!

  • great movie i watched it today own it GREAT! AND BEST MUSIC EVER!

  • I felt so bad for king kong. Poor ape he didn't mean to hurt nobody.

  • @eylshazuela yeah me too

  • Don't mean to ruin the super technical critiquing down below... but I think this is great.

  • The Song in the background is Central Park

  • Oh wait It's Fairy Dance. xD

  • too bad that you dont have left the beautiful original kingking sound inside. the pansound exists in masses on youtube ...

  • Don't know what you're referring to, sorry.

  • the sound! the originalScene! but in the meantime i found the right version: "ice skating in central park"

  • Would ruin the video if I had.

  • It is a special love indeed, the love a giant ape shares with his lady.

  • Beautiful... it is the title of the subject of the sequence ice dance and in the kong's lair...

  • Okay. I'm gonna go cry now. And by Peter Pan's soundtrack. James Newton Howard rules!!!!

  • I'm not ashamed to admit it. This Movie makes me cry everytime I see it. This is a beautiful movie man, thanks for making my day. Awesome...

  • well you're not the only one it has that effect on becus it is a beautiful movie. so be proud lol.

  • Even if you hadn't asked for my thoughts, I was going to leave them... You did a beuatiful job with this video. In my opinion, the best part of this film, was Ann's and Kong's realationship. And set to this music, it's just heavenly. I don't beleive you that you did it within two hours though. This is a very detailed peice of work. Lovely. Bravo!

  • Yes that song is from Peter Pan (2003) simply called Fairy Dance. It's the scene where Peter dances with Wendy. Thanks for your comments!

  • Ok, Ok, I watched the video all the way through. The music is "The Fairy Dance" from Peter Pan. Thanks Lisardo!! Love the score. I pulled it directly from my soundcard.

  • This score is not on Peter Pan soundtrack (I could not find it there). Does anyone know where this piece came from? The Soundtrack and song title?

  • Yes it is from the Peter Pan (2003) soundtrack. Trust me.

  • The music is beautiful!!!. Thanks for the source Kamino, I appreciate it. You know, its hard to find a particular piece of music if you do not know where to look. James Newton Howard is a very talented composer.

  • The Music is not from King Kong But from Peter Pan (James newton howard too)

  • Yes but James Newton Howard at least composed the score to both movies, coincidentally.

  • I know! Both great.

  • good job

  • Thanks so much!

  • Hmm I wanna make musicvideos like this! But I can't find clips or anything to make it! Any idea where I can get them? Yours are so good! It just ennoys me that i can't lol! ;D

  • Like I said you just have to find clips to d/l or if you have dvds and you got the software, you can rip them onto your computer and get clips that way. Plus you'd need a video editing program.

  • Whats P2P? Lol I'm curious ;) God I love that last scene on Skull Island where Kong reaches out a hand for Ann. And yey Jimmy is in the clip too. lol. Lovely that you used that scene to that melody. It fint :') Make more! =D

  • Peer-to-peer, like file-sharing programs. Yeah I tried to use the music accordingly. At the most emotional points. Thanks so much!

  • Oh man! This is so beautiful! Got tears in my eyes. Wich I didn't even get during the movie! Ok maybe I got some tears but... lol. Anyway! Really awsome video! Well done! You should be proud yes! I loved this movie so I praise every clip from it! Hehe. Can't wait for the dvd! But where do you get the clips from? If you can, it would be awsome to see a video with the Venture crew! The best crew ever! lol

  • Thanks so much! Yeah I did kinda make it sad didn't I, but then again that's how the movie was. The clips I got from, uhhhh *cough* P2P *cough* I want the dvd tho too, and I can't wait for it!
