Very impressive buddy, 341rwhp is about 400+ crank HP with stock internals, a stroker and bigger cam will get you another 50rwhp and 50lbs more torque.
Or...time for forced induction + internals = 550+rwhp!!
@nevermissclancom thanks guy,... rev limiter set to 6700 as I'm running stock internals...but keeps pulling up to that point without leveling off...might be more to be had if it rev'd higher...who knows.
@Gibson6894 that set up will cost you close to 10k after all is said and done. i had a mustang with a nearly the same set up minus the TF heads. If you want to make over 300 to the wheels on a 2v it is really easy. you just need to throw a power adder on it. you can find vortech's for cheap. you could get a complete kit for around 3k and that should put you right around his numbers depending on the tune.
sounds great man .....need some help i have a 03 gt with under drive pullys,30lb injectors, bbk 75mm throttle body jlt cold air with 90mm lightning mass air bassani long tubes bassani catless x and magnaflow the rest of the way out 355gears and sve upper and lower traction bars out back also has sct chip and tuned on 93.... trying to figure out which heads and cam i should run thats best for the set up im workin with now
hey bro nice stang , nice cams sound. i bay one gt 02 last mount and change new engine 298 stroke by livernois and livernois heads ported, tickflow intake manifold, american racing headers, comps cams too but a want upgrade the fuel sistem and begin use E-85 for go to dyno for nice tone with some spray for good numbers. In some weeks came and check my videos ok bro', thanks
@askloglog Thought I'd give you an update as you do your research. Had another tuner tweak the car, this time on a Mustang Dyno. The first was on a DynoJet Meter and wasn't really impressed with the numbers and drivability especially knowing that DynoJet numbers are usually more exaggerative of the truth. The second tune is like night and day. Driviability is way up considering the stg2 cams and it pulled 345rwhp on a tune that is nortorious for displaying low numbers compared to others.
@askloglog ran out of characters...but to finish. The beast kept pulling. But they stopped at 6600rpms due to the stock internals. The hp never leveled before that. So theres more to be had. Stock fuel systemis still within limits but if I were to go NO2 or Boost of any sort then an upgrade is mandatory. Its fun to see this little NA 2V pull the way she does...good luck guy...
@sick2v hey I'm back LOL... you didn't by chance get those smoked head lights from American Racing did you? if you don't mind, what model or type are they- if you can remember, and how do you like them?
@askloglog they were from AM and yes they are smoked...dont remember part numbers...just dont get the covers...cheap product...get the whole headlight assembly
@sick2v haha thanks again... my stang is starting to come along :) its all blacked out (other than the headlights) about to get some 4.10 gears for a christmas present to myself :)
wow! Sounds great. I have been on the fence whether to spend the cash on the heads or not. That pushed me a little further to YES!! Are you running aftermarket cams or the OE? Great car! I am in the same general area I will have to look out for you!
Hey bro car really nice like all the mods gettin all my shit together for my 99-04 build up.....Car sounds sick and looks good if you want better ets on the track you might want to with a steeper gears 3.73 ok but if you want to see 11,s with that set up and smoke some fool or everyone you run into except high horse mo fo's you should upgrade those 3.73 to 4.30 but i would recommend 4.56's gas milage isnt much difference but a whole new world when on the street or track.....think about it bro.

@zackomac no they cant.not only will they make zero power that higher, the rods and pistons ( along with the bearings) will fry at like 7000. what your thinking of is the stock crank, as it will hold 9000 no problem.
@Treyb0220 Well you're right that obviously they won't make any power on the stock heads/cams .. you're wrong about them blowing up at 7. How do I know for a fact? Mine's hit 7,500 before. Multiple times (not on purpose though). Go read the SAE design book on how to build a 4.6 modular Ford motor. Every 4.6 produced can safely turn 9k, just needs a fuel system. Go look on the SAE website & see for yourself.
@slackerm1 you talking about 9k rpms? lol no stock mod motor will ever turn that safely. but yea guess im wrong, ive just never seen a stock 2v shortblock pushed that far
@Treyb0220 They're never pushed that far cause there is no point, they won't make any power. But they are physically capable of doing it without blowing up yes. I'd never wanna do it personally though
@slackerm1 look, I hate youtube arguments lol, they're really stupid and pointless. If you don't believe me that's fine I guess. If you care enough about it go look it up and you'll see that what I'm saying has validity in it, if you don't then cool. I don't care enough to go find the proof for you lol
@spdrcrify went with 38cc. As for being happy? I'm content for the time being...was hoping for higher numbers but I suppose not bad for a N/A 2v. Does pull nice on the road. I feel might try another tune. Was humid as hell yesterday. Trying to get to a track soon and post results.
@sick2v are you still running the factory shortblock? I have an 01 GT with 80k. The car already has cai, tb, exhaust and 100 wet shot. I cant decide if i should buy some ported pi's or try these. I dont have huge plans for the car. I'm just upgrading pistons and rods to 11:1 compession, maybe a victor jr intake. How do you like the tfs intake?
@spdrcrify I am still running the stock short block. If you plan on staying N/A, and it looks like you are with the compression you want, I'd run the heads with that set up. They flow way more than ported P.I.'s. And if you wanted bigger results you could always port the Trickflows. The piston and rod change would allow for some serious power running that kind of compression. And a full exhuast and intake system would definetly put the air where it needs to go quickly.
@spdrcrify sorry ran out of characters last response....but as for the tfs intake...its a knew addition...about month old. was a bitch to install , re-routing cables and fliping the position on the alternator and it came with no instructions...so we winged it...lol. But the setup definetly moves lots of air. Was running just heads and cams without tune and was aggressive already but then added intake and the ECU couldn't keep up, hence the tune. only compliant is that it gets retains heat more..
@sick2v nice numbers. i would have never excepted those numbers from a N/A 2V. i have a 98 cobra and im hoping to make those numbers N/A before i put my blower on.

thank you for posting this soo much, these heads and cams are the exact set up im going with- minus the slp exhaust im going with MAC and 44cc heads
now i have a real idea of how much power i should be around when im done
again thanks this helped a lot
