  • The Formula Renault 2.0 are great and modern cars. Yes I think so and it's under 4 sec 0-60 mph.

    I didn't have to import it as they ran in the North America under FranAM 2000 and then later in the Formula TR Pro Series until 2007. I purchased it the when the series went bankrupt and the teams were selling their cars to South America, China and Canada. Mine was 1 of 2 in the USA with the 2007 body kit upgrade.

    The Swift 016A is quicker, but will require more maintenance and engine rebuilds.

  • How do you like driving the FR2.0? How difficult was it to import? Does it really do 0-100mph in 5 seconds? I do a bit of karting + track days with a Boxster S and am looking to buy a proper track car, like a FR2.0 or Pro Formula Mazda (not as pretty as the FR) or Swift 016a (probably too fast) - any thoughts?
