I was in Paphos Cyprus in May of 2005... My brother got married over there. It is really rare for Americans to be there and there was over 50 of us hitting up the bar scene LOL. They loved us...They were buying us drinks and everything... I felt like I was in Australia again. They love Americans over there too. We had a very nice time...Everybody was so nice over there :) Such a beautiful place to vacation. Thanks for the video!!

I have been Cyprus about 6 times it never gets boring. Its such a nice and fun country. Ayia Napa is amazing, there food is amazing, the people are amazing! Especially because i have blonde hair ;) and they like blonde haired people :)

Cyprian's like any sort of people really, You give them money for what they are providing you with and your happy and so are they :) Best thing is probably the night life in Ayia Napa for me but depends on what you like to do. There are a lot of tourist attractions such as Nicosia (Where Turkish soldiers took over) There are museums and also Water Parks. Enjoy :)

Well I can not remember when i went to larnaca very well because it was when i was about 9 years old :) But there is a very nice hotel there called the Mediterranean Hotel, Its not expensive and food is cheap well it used to be when i went about 2 years ago, Its lovely to eat and you can always walk down to the harbor and get a pizza from Pizza Hut lol.

Limassol is more relaxed, and has a nice city centre whereas Ayia Napa is more of a tourist destination. It has clear see beaches with white sand and has a lot of clubs, so it depends which you prefer - relaxing or clubbing!!! Also, I recommend stopping in Larnaca on the way from Limassol - Ayia Napa/Ayia Napa - Limassol even if it's just for a few hours as the Finikoudes is nice!

I don't know if it's worth stopping in Larnaka or not, but you could stay in Larnaka town centre on the way back if you're flying from Larnaka! By the way are you flying on Jazeera?

it is beautiful over there just soo bloody hot, i went over in the middle of august because to visit relatives for a week and the hottest it was was 64 degrees the sand on the beach painfully burnt my feet!

Hi,

Thanks for having a look at the video.Apollo Hills apartments were superb and obviously refurbished. rooms were cleaned and made up by default daily and the whole place appeared well maintained. The camera is a relatively cheap Fuji F11 digital still camera with a video function. I beleive the latest models are the Fuji F40, F31 which I would reccomend. I beleive buying a still camera with good video function is better than buying a video camera with poor still photography.

about the vidio quality..most cameras lk like they are of a high quality in cy becouse of the light...its almost perfect for cameras...i hav taken 1.3 meg pixl and they come out really good

Sorry for late reply... I think you are right, the Cyprus light is fantastic, whereas the nightime videos and pics suffer a bit. I am still really pleased with daytime photos tho. Suppose its the difference with a dedicated camera...depends on your budget.

We stayed at the 'Apollo Hill' a couple of years ago when it was called the 'Evzonas Hill'.

Has it improved at all? The place was dropping to bits when we were there, despite the best efforts of the people who were managing it at the time.
