I have a very strong face, skinny, high cheek bones, my chin is maybe a little long...strong, bright dark eyebrows, normal eyes with long long eye lashes... can you make a video about this kind of face? I'm southamerican.

  • That contouring looks amazing x

  • hello :)

when highlighting do you use the foundation first and than highlight? 10ks

  • Are you wearing foundation first??

  • I'm sorry i heard NOTHING you said your just to sexy.

  • Hello :) Is the palette used the same as MUD's highlight/shadow palette? Are there any alternatives? These contouring/highlighting tutorials are fantastic.

  • Brilliant!

  • isnt he kissable ? gemy 1

  • I love your videos!!! I've seen a lot of these type of videos, but I've learned a lot from yours!! very informative!

  • Pure excellence. I love your tutorial method. You really should write a book that would run along the lines of the Dummies or Complete Idiot's Guide series.

  • I didn't yet see all your videos, but I think that this is one of the best: a real, effective countoring which enhances or creates a gorgeous bones structure in a very natural make up- no make up way. In the other videos applying several layers of different products and overblending, you lose the bone structure line, furthermore the complexion looked too greasy. What I saw before looked like Scott Barnes did in his book....the effect was great....in photo-shop! Instead you found a great tecnique

  • You look so much like David Beckham in this video. XD

  • you are definitely not boring.. mesmerizing to watch when you do make up. love it.

  • are you self taught or have you had a proper course? you're really good:)

  • which brush is recommended for contouring? xx

  • Q: I'v been looking for a tutorial on how i can contour my forehead to make it look smaller?

    could you please help out,

    Thanks so much.

  • @sagalmibagal the contouring on the sides of the forhead will make it look smaller

  • @falloutmnky Thank you. =)

  • Man this fu**in awesome man! Im goin to subscribe to ur channel!

  • hahaha, you're not boring

  • manly, competent, confident, natural, excellent work. thanks.

  • You look WAY HOT with makeup!!! I thought you looked fine without it, but then you just used makeup to look a lot more manly!!! Makeup on a guy is usually a turn off for me, but you work it!!! And EXCELLENT tutorial!!!

  • lol your sexy voice makes up for the long video :D

  • HOT UK MAKEUP MAN <333

  • great video

  • i'm a boy, and i'm looking for a highlight. with no glitter, or minimal glitter. i'm not to experienced with make up, so i'm not sure what to look for, as a highlight. I just want a shene look, without the effect of sparkles. I am a light - medium base skin tone. I was thinking about mac vanilla pigment? but when I look at my finger after swatching it, it looks somewhat glittery

  • Great job!! Would you do a special for us 'experienced' ladies for our DOUBLE CHINS and JOWLS (so rude of them to sag when we are absolutely not ready for that). Especially how to blend all that into the NECK....???!!!!!

Fantastic job! Hope you are having a great week-end xoxox

  • also that sponge u used was that used as dry or wet?

  • lol...I'm 31 as well and I don't call myself a lady either. I prefer the term, girl or a young'in...I like how u said that 2! It's weird how when ur at a certain age in life, people start calling u ma'am, or sir when really ur a kid at heart and still prefer being called a boy, or a girl!

  • you're too cute, nice job!

  • Maybe I'm weird lol but I prefer your 'non-contoured' profile. You look smoking hot with your natural contouring :)

  • I have oily skin.. I always contour and highlight with powders not my foundation. I feel like it keeps my skin matte. Would you recommend doing this?

  • YOU ARE AMAIZING!

  • interesting........

  • You could never be boring no matter what you are doing. Keep on winking

  • Of all the people who have tried to explain/teach me how to contour, your video has done the best job. Cheers! ;)

  • Wow! that's so cool!

  • thank you for your help

  • Thanks for this - you're an excellent teacher!

    P.S.

The "being a boy" comment was so cute! :)

  • Comment removed

  • hehe.. "being a boy, i want a bit of bone structure going on" haha! cute.

do you have a tutorial about how to make a girl look like a guy? like, how to create the illusion of a masculine face? :D

  • ah ur soo cute :D

    very helpful, thank u.

  • Your way to cute!!! I love your videos!! :)

  • Nice !

  • how cute was it when he said being a boy"? adorable ... he's the best :-)

  • Indeed, the beauty blender sponge is wonderfu..I was feeling sad about a very dark lancome foundation that I got online and cudn't return..this vid gave me an idea. I used the sponge and used the shade as a contouring shade and wallah...I look like I lost some pounds..weightwise, i.e...Thx to this vid...

  • You're so handsome...

  • Wow! Just what I needed. Thank you so much! You are my favorite!

    TOO CUTE!!

besides being so darn cute, you're a genious!

  • im gonna seem really stupid but what do you use for contouring and highlighting is it foundation or something cause i dont wanna buy something to use and then find out when i use it oh hey this isnt working right lol so if you could respond to this awesome!!!

  • he's way better than mr beckham :)

  • Wow! That is pretty amazing Wayne!

  • your cute..

  • hallo please can you tell me a book where i can learn contouring not only for men please no bobbi brown no nars no kevyn aucoin no stephane marais for all this things i have and i cannot understand and how are you today your eye happy eastern

  • Theres a book called Thalia! Belleza! Lessons in Lipgloss and Happiness. Its an award winning beauty book and it has lessons with similiar contouring tenchniques as in the video.Perhaps that might be helpful to you.

  • thank you so much i will try to find this book here in austria or amazon gb

  • who? Mr Brad? or Mr Goss here?

I don't see any droop with either of them.

    =D

  • mr. brad ofcourse, i can see his droopy cheeks but their really cute. i wouldnt mind them.

oh and mr. goss is sooo handsome...

    hmmmmm.

  • thats great for guys contouring thanx men am gonna try this

  • This is the most amazing contouring video I've seen. Thank you!!

    xx

  • you are great! + this is the best contouring tutorial video here!

I'd love to watch this in HD!

    XXX

  • omg..i used this and it was soo nice... my whole face just blended so easily

  • ah hah! so that's how brad pitt gets that chiseled look.

Gosh. If I tried this contouring on my face with those colors of MUD, I'd make MUD...literally.

You make it look so easy.

  • lol!!! and nope...did not realize you missed that part of the nose. I remember one day back in high school when I fogot to put mascara on one eye. How the heck can I forget that??? You should have seen me looking for anyone that had some mascara to borrow from. I'm blond so i was naked on one eye. LOL

  • soooo helpful!!

    i acutally understand... (yay!)

    thanks

  • carino!!!

  • okay please help me with this, okay, i do the contouring..but, should i get the regular foundation first? and powder last.. from the contouring that is...i have tendency of acne and i really need to use foundation..so i always wonder?, can you tell me, thank you for all ur videos and they are amazing

  • how do you contour on very pale skin?(very pale) You have to use darker colors and when i do they are too dark and i end up looking like i got a bad tan.

  • dude u went from regular dude to david beckham lol that's crazy

  • you are the best makeup guru on youtube! thanskk for all of your help! just a question, in perosn does this look more obvious that its makeup or does it look subte?

  • My son had signed in to his account & I didn't realize it! hahahaha Gotta delete the comment from his profile! The real comment is from me! MOM!

Really loved this one! I haven't done contouring because I didn't want to have to figure all that out. You've made it very simple and given me ideas of how to bring out nice features in my face without a lot of work. Thanks!

  • Wow this is one of the best makeup videos I have seen on youtube.

Would it be possible for you to repeat this type of video but on a female model??

  • Very helpful and informative!

Doesn't look too overdone just natural!

    Thanks for doing this

  • I'm going to try this on my boyfriend :) I've done contouring to his cheek bones in the pass, but i yet need to try on his nose and forehead. thanks

straight men have no idea how hot they look when they put lil makeup ON!!!

  • Brilliant!!! Awesome tutorial, you make it all look so simple. Thank you!!!

Hope your eye is better soon!

  • could listen to you talk al day!!! thanks good info

  • I want to make my nose apprear smaller.. Can this be done ? Also what look for droopy eye lids

Thanks !! I think you are Superrrrrrrrrrrr

  • Wayne...where can I get the red sponge blender thingy you used ? in the US.

    thanks luv...Lori

  • could you recommend a good powder contouring palette ?

  • You know why I like you? With you there's NO pretense. Attributes? Kind. Unique. Quietly confident. Calmly adept. Amusing. Smart. Yeah you're cute, but these are the reasons you're putting hundreds of women on the floor in a swoon-induced heap.

  • Wish I'd said that. ^5

  • So true :)

  • Can you tell me if "the rule" of contour is the same for all ages? I mean, would you contour an older woman as you would a younger woman? Maybe this sounds like a dumb question but...

  • Can you show us , how you do the more highlight for tanner girl's like me? I'm Halle Barry tan :)

  • I really like the tutorial but someone told me that when you contour it should be barely there. Is that true?

    Thanks! :)

  • hahaha "obv im a man" and the boy comment gave me the giggles. my mum was looking at me like ive gone mad. love it thank u. xxxxx

  • just start from the ear out towards the cheek - its a mistake people make they start at the cheek and this gives a line of muck...

  • I have a question what if you foundation is the lightest shade possible would you contour more and highlight less because of the fairness of the skin? I'm a NW15.Thank you~

    Laura

  • that is a good question. mostly, the lighter you are the more you cotour and the darker the more you highlight - however, at NW15 you cannot really highlight much more - so with such fair skin i would use a contour product that is NW20-25 at most...otherwise it might look like mud on the face x

  • Wonderful :) Do you actually contour in your everday routine or just for youtube?

  • not on myself no. on others it depends on what is needed.... i always so "something" normally to everyone...

  • Awesome tutorial! Love it! Thank you!

FYI I like the tutorials when you talk and explain things better than those with music. I learn much more when you explain your techniques!

  • You are not boring. I love your talking tutorials. They are my favorite. I love listening to our accent.

    Thank You for Posting!

  • I KNEW IT! You must have had a makeup malfunction which is irritating your eye. Did you accidently poke it? Personally, I can't work that close to the eye. I just tried to put on some gel mascara and it freaked me out so I could only do one eye. My Mum used to put boric acid on a hot compress when I had a stye. Very soothing. I love how the contouring and highlighting enhance your boyish good looks. Great vid! I don't know how you do it! UR such a joy to watch! I'll bet you smell good too.

  • lol i use dryclaw so i have no smell at all ;)

  • Best contouring and highlighting tutorial ever!!!!!

You are a gifted makeup artist and an amazing teacher.

    You could never be boring!!!!

    Just brilliant!! ;D

  • Personally ... I like your instructional videos (the ones you speak) rather than the music added videos.

  • Was the sponge wet or dry? Should you do this before foundation or after? Will powder work just as well as cream? Sorry for questions just trying to learn..thanks

  • powder is fine. the beauty blender was sprayed with water - always use a damp sponge - easier blending.

  • I like how you call yourself a boy too :)

  • love your technique! thanks for sharing.... =D

  • you are never boring!!! loved this tutorial

  • wonderful video and not boring at all, don't say that on camera :P Thank you for posting it!

  • Looks like maybe you have a stye on your eye.

I wish you could live in my makeup case and contour my face for me every morning! LOL

  • So well done!

The Beauty Blender sponge is wonderful. Nice to see it getting some love.

Do you think you have a stye on your left eye? You could try soaking a washcloth in very hot water (letting it cool off a bit) and then apply it to your eyelid, and see if you can see a little red bump. It should go away, if you soak it a bit.

I almost ripped out my eyelashes the other day, as my eyelashes stuck to the base of my curler. I will admit to being very scared for a moment.

    xoxoxo

  • careful with those eyelashes! i'm not sure going to see about it today as its swollen badly at the moment :(

  • Sorry about your eye sweets :( Definitely do the warm compress thing. I would add 5 or 6 drops of baby shampoo to the warm water. This will be very cleansing and it won't irritate your eye further. Take care :-)

  • It's great to watch a new tutorial almost every day, you're very talented and I love your british accent ! I'm gonna try both on me: the contouring and the accent, 'cause mine is terrible!

  • oh i bet its not!

  • I'm sure about winning, my british accent is a nightmare, but thanks anyway!

    P.D.:The contouring works!

  • You're always so nice... I love you and your work!

  • haha when the video first popped up it looked like you had some kind of tribal war paint on your face or something, lol but great tutorial:D

    -Sara

  • i know right!

  • so helpful thanks

  • luv ur boy contouring! especially around the jaw part..

it seems that the mud products have alot of playtime, meaning they are creamy instead or matte, i would suggest powdering it lightly with a velour puff to set it so it does not transfer :)

  • this video is soo useful. Thank you! :)

  • This is the best contouring video! You're awesome, Wayne!!

  • do you contour and highlight then apply foundation and concealor?? and are you using mud highlight palette for this?? thank you ...your amazing!!

  • foundation first, concealer then contour - i'm using the mud contour palette for thsi yes

  • maybe i just don't know how but i feel every time i try to contour and highlight that it just makes my face look dirty,

  • thank you so much I will checkout the products you have used

  • r you married? idk. i saw a ring.. ;]

  • can you put up a video once in a while of your work? i think everyone would love to see what you do to other people to make them beautiful. you do such a good job! thanks =)

  • Excellent video! Thanksssss

  • a boy. lol

    manboy

    =]

  • man boy! its the newest thing!

  • how can u help diminish a double chin with contouring

  • It is not at all boring, your videos are sooo great :):) Thank you very much!

  • amazing as always. This is so helpful. I really need the help with my nonexistent cheekbones
