I'm against cutting Wolf. This might be because he's one of my favorite characters in Brawl, but I think his play style, while based off of Fox and Falco's, is very different. His A-moves are completely different, and his special moves (except the reflector) are used in different ways. If anyone from Star Fox should go, it might be Falco since he's so similar to Fox. But that's not going to happen because he's too popular. I say keep all 3.
But he was there to build up hype to increase sales when it came out; Mother 3 wasn't released for years after Melee, it wouldn't be a good marketing idea at all.
@LordJackal Oh yeah I'm not disputing the fact that Lucas wasn't in Melee.Mother 3 was canceled they didn't think it was ever going to be a proper game. If it wasn't though we probably would have seen Lucas in there for the exact same reason as Roy. I'm just saying that having a future game character (which they weren't sure Lucas actually would have become) has been done before.
I don't see it, personally. We already have a Sheikah in the form of Sheik, and I think she would be better fit as an Assist Trophy. Granted, I *haven't* played Skyward Sword yet, but I've heard a lot about her and looked it up.

Eh, I don't feel Advance Wars works as playable characters too much. Fire Emblem's characters are about the person themself fighting, and that's represented. Advance Wars is about commanding an army, not being the one actually fighting. That's well represented through the assist trophy it has right now, and possible other items/stages/what have you that can be added. Sort of like how Animal Crossing is best represented by the stage.
I was thinking of this: Pit's new FS: Hammer from Heaven. He grabs a gigantic hammer, like 5-6x his own size, and rams it into the ground with an enormous shock wave. Hitting the hammer is OHKO, and the shockwave is good damage and amazing knockback.
He's not really much of a fighter; more of a pawn. Zant would be more likely than Skull Kid in my opinion, but there is such a huge wave of popularity for him that he may get in on that. I highly doubt it though.
Right, but there's the opportunity to have much more variety by having Krystal instead, or anybody who breaks from the mold that's been set. It's not incredibly important they remove one, I just hope they do.

It's tough. They already made a unique moveset for him. I think there'll be some changes, but I think it'll be more akin to some of his moves being slightly adjusted to use an item than a completely new moveset.
