  • Even morons know, the first alphabetical book is the Hebrew bible, its literary merit has never been equaled, spawning a host of writers in Europe. It was the Greeks who first translated the Hebrew bible in 300 BCE, and they got their alpha beta from the alef bet. I say: LET THERE BE LIGHT.

  • @ELVISCHALLENGE

sorry to disappoint you mate, but the Tora was not the first written/alphabetical work in human history. the Greek poet Homer wrote his Illias about 700 BCE and even long before that the Babylonians had their written language in today's Iraq. The ancient Egyptians too had writing, though in another form (hieroglyphs), in about 2500 BCE.

But back to the movie, it's great! Makes you think.

  • @kookiegod123 Lol, what the hell are you talking about? I don't hate the United States. And your comment doesn't make any sense. Science; okay. That's an American thing. And Chinese/Japanese. But even morons know that the greatest literature and art comes from Europe. You need examples?

  • @Slide2671 Oh yes, it does. It takes away alot.

  • Excellent film.

Now, perhaps there is a film out there describing the soviet involvement in this war against Israel?

  • @chica476 i never heard of that. were they supplying the arabs?

  • anybody know the name of the music? 2:38-6:00

  • "OK, shoot AND pray".

  • ahhhhhhh Hezbollah strikes again!

  • wonderful music.....slow and deliberate

  • @janjalani155 this probably isn't the movie you want to jerk off to. choose one without such important content

  • this movie is about the 18yo or 19yo boys , still young and naive and throwing them into absurd situations for the sake of slogans, defense or what ever. Holocaust? I don't think so, where are the camps? where is the racial Ideology? Where is the killing for the sake of cleaning a race off the earth? All I see is frightened little boys shooting at the unknown, shooting like there is no tomorrow at the Innocent, out of fear, out of the basic instinct to stay alive no matter what.

  • stunning animations, this is a great film

  • Israelis are creating another holocaust in the Middle East

  • @inder19852000 What the fuck is this stupid comment ?

  • I am saying the truth. History is repeating. At the present Holocaust victims are Palestinians

  • @inder19852000 thats probably one of the most ridiculous statements I've ever seen, congratulations.

  • @inder19852000

The Arab armies that fought Israel are to blame for the hundreds of thousands of refugees still wandering the Middle East, most of whom die before the age of fourty thanks to the awful conditions. They are the closest to creating a second holocaust, but even they have not yet reached that level of horror. Read a history book before you judge an entire nation. Israel has committed many war crimes, but they still have some respect for human life, which many Arab states lack.

  • Israel may have human right in its society. Israeli army used white phosphorous during the last Gaza war. Gaza is an open air prison. I feel pity that Kerala (India) gave refuge to Jews long back.

  • @inder19852000

Yeah they went a bit crazy in the last war, but they have had few attacks since, and this is the thing about Gaza: all it would take is the people telling Hamas they have no right to dictate the terms in their region. That's all it would take. As long as Hamas believes they have popular support, they will continue to lead their people into Israel's gunfire. Israel is tired of calls for it's annihalation. Israel is tired of wars lasting for years. No more Arab bigotry.

  • @inder19852000

Everybody knows, knowbody is doing something, its sad, shameful

  • Ugh, I hate dubs. What the hell is wrong with subtitles? Can't you guys read?

  • @LightStijn Well, dude, look at the quality of this vid. Don't you think subtitles might get a bit annoying? And besides, the voice actors are doing a pretty good job. Also, having to look down at the bottom of the screen while the animation is going on can be a bit annoying.

  • @Slide2671 Okay, the quality is shit. You've got a point there. But the rest of your arguments are useless. Movies like this are meant to be seen in the original language. Now it's almost as bad as the German dub of Saving Private Ryan. I can understand dubbing for Disney movies. But that's all. Please learn how to read, thank you.

  • @LightStijn Think about it. An important scene is going on, rapid fire dialogue being given. You don't want to have to look at the whole scene with your eyes fixed on the lower part of the screen. I really do not see what your so pissed about. The voice actors are fine, it runs smoothly, it makes it easier to pay attention to the detail and animation, what's so wrong about it?

  • @Slide2671 Those voice actors are terrible. They should be speaking Hebrew. It's a documentary, for Christ's sake! If you can read properly, then reading subtitles should only take about half a second. I can understand dubbing for little children, but if grown-ups need it too, then I can't help but wonder if they ever had any education at all. Besides... people should accept the fact that there are other languages out there than their own.

P.S.: Don't want to be rude. Just making a statement.

  • @LightStijn What your saying is ridiculous. There is no need for subtitles when dubbing can be used properly. And besides, I think the voices of the American voice actors are pretty good, they help move the scene along. Besides, just because you don't know another language doesn't mean your uneducated. Why do I have to know Hebrew?

And just because it's a documentary doesn't mean anything. Dubbing let's the film move along faster and allows for a closer examination of the film.

  • @Slide2671 You don't have to know Hebrew. You have to READ English.

  • @LightStijn But why should we HAVE to read English, if dubbing makes it a lot easier?

  • @Slide2671 Are Americans really that lazy or stupid? Does everything have to be "easy"? Is reading really that difficult for you?

  • @LightStijn Oh God, here we go with the stereotypes. No. Reading is not difficult for me. I scored off the charts in Language and Literature. Just because I'm American doesn't mean I'm uneducated. But I don't see what the big deal is with dubbing. Why are you so against it? It does NOTHING, absolutely NOTHING, to the quality of the film.

  • @LightStijn It's funny because the country you hate contributed a lot more to literature, arts, and sciences than most countries in the world.

  • lo aleinu od paam

  • He portraits the soldiers like victims !

  • @VegardMinde and they arent victims?

  • @Lauxizzle Nein !

  • @VegardMinde

They are. They have a compulsery army in israel and not just like in germany for 9 month, hiking through the forest, no, the are trained for war down there for 3 long years.

  • @VegardMinde Yes they are...

    they victims of their government!

  • find part 2 in my favorites. its also the video response found on part 1.

  • part 2 ?

  • The sound is so much better on this one than the prior...

  • where's part 2?

  • and 4?

  • part 2 was removed becuase the scenes with nudity were in it.

  • BTW: Nice footage of the Merkava Mk. 1 tank. The tank actually participated with a high degree of success in Lebanon War (1982) when the war started Israel had 200-300 Merkava Mk. 1 tanks but lost quite a view when the Merkava was used in cities because it wasn't designed for close quarter combat.

  • This is way better quality than the others! Thank you bunchies!
