  • great video, hope it works for me

  • 2:01 I came home to find my girlfriend trying THIS exercise out the other day...

...the next door neighbour was helping her. They were both naked.

For some reason this improves the stretch.

The odd thing thing is neither of them are into TaeKwonDo.

  • im usin this tomorrow for my adductors :) ..thanks for this

  • @2j1c sure.. tomorrow xp..

  • thx a lot for the video!!! But when I do any kind of repetition my right leg near the hips sounds a click. Is that normal???

    Thx again!!!!

  • this could possibly another band excercise.

  • very good explanation, really professional. thanks

  • Hi Paul, how many reps must one do of this exercise?

Can I mix this in with your high kick exercises and what do you recommend to develop high kicks as I have just started Karate training?

    Cheers buddy!

  • Great video, thanks!

  • awesome thank you

  • Thankyou

  • Where is your accent from? I don't mean to offend, in fact, I like it a lot, it's very relaxing. Just curious, thanks.

  • Your videos are very helpfull.

    Thank you. :)

  • Great video

  • Thank you for your comment.

  • do you do the repetitions fast or slow??

anyway i was following some of your excises and my flexibility increase just a little bit. How long would you say it would take for people to gain flexibility to do the splits following your excercises?

  • There is no set time for anything.

  • i thought so because on Tom Kurz program he says just a few months and i didnt know if that was true cause i gain more flexible on your program than his. How many times a day should we do these excercises

  • No1. Which exercise? N02. Intensity of the exercises dictates how often. More intense - less often.

  • the excercise done in this video

  • Usually 3 times a week. Set's, reps and resistance depends on your strength and your needs.

  • well you usually want to do them slow. When I'm warming up for exercise I do them quickly to stretch muscle tissue. I use warmup sets of exercises to stretch the tendons and ligaments. Muscles stretch much faster than ligaments so depending on what you are stretching for you may want to hold it for 30 seconds or 4 minutes. Never stretch to horrible horrrible pain unless you know what youre doing.

  • Okay. Thank you very much. Nice videos by the way.

    Greetings.

  • Hmm ok. But if i do that one and the wall stretching with the upper body down stretching...would it help me get my side kicks more high and flexibil?

(Im sorry im from croatia,so my english isnt that good)

    Greetings

  • Take a look at other videos on this channel, and you will find plenty of techniques for kicking height.

  • i need to train my roundhouse and side kick height does that help?...

    Greetings.

  • Not exactly. Different techniques are need for side line kicks kicking height.

  • Looks weird, but works great.

  • As long as it works for you :)

  • Great move.

  • Thank you for your comments.

  • Nice Flexibility there and thanks for the lesson.

  • Thank you for your comment.

  • Another great video.

  • Thank you for your comments.

  • Very cool flexibility video. Thanks.

  • You got it.

  • if do this excise will i be able to do a spilt

  • You will strengthen your adductors. Combined with stretching, you will be on your way to side split.

  • tnx 4 the upload 5 stars....does this type of stretch share the same principle as PNF stretching

  • Thank you for your comment. PNF strengthens in only small degree of the movement, while ELC strengthens large part of the movement, inlcuding the extreme range, which becomes deeper as flexibility increases.

  • tnx for the reply, im studying sport and sport science so its usefull information.

  • Lots of luck with your studies.

  • Very cool.

  • Thanks for the comment.

  • Good exericse, I'll do it with my group. Many of them need flexible adductors.

  • What are you training for?

  • Thanks for this adductor video, I'll use it for my flexibility training.

  • Thanks for the comment.

  • Thanks for the comment.

  • So what is better? To pull with socks or to push the legs out?

  • Socks, better leverage.

  • If that what works for you.

  • So after a while you get better?

  • That's the point.

  • Can this help somebody do a split?

  • Yes definitely.

  • Thanks.

  • No Problem.

  • Great idea to use the pants to work the inner thighs.

  • Thank you. You can use your socks as well.

  • I have to thank you. You have improved my kicking so much its crazy.. Best wishes to you and your family

  • Thank you. Same to you.

  • Thank you for sharing.

I just startet do train ballett and dance again and i need strong inner tighs!!!

  • It's a valuable exercise if your techniques require adductors strength and flexibility.
