This version of the laser pod doesn't come with all the filter accessories but it does have 3 telescopic adjustable legs which allow to project the light show at an angle, rather than straight up onto the ceiling...

adjustable legs are pretty useless for changing angle. the pod will fall down in most positions other than straight up. so the difference is the look of it. it looks a little cooler but only has one mode: ON.

The orig. laserpod has a switch with three modes so it's a little more versatile (and is heavier), can be used on batteries too.
