i know its unrealistic....but just for one day i wish we could just be able to have a "no worry " time again. A time when people were geniune and sincere didn't have to worry about thing like this. The companies making the vaccines are usually protected by governments from any law suits should anything go wrong. I'm not kidding you, I was actually SHOCKED when I heard that.

I'm in Ontario, Canada, a decent place as any, and a few weeks ago it was part of the news and they said this is normal practice.

So there you have it, these companies can rush a vaccine, experiment, fuck up, and get of scott free. Just, like, that.

Agrees with a1mint. Regarding having the capability to Sue GlaxoSmithKline or any medically related 3rd party associated with the vaccine, Congress also fast tracked, and passed a bill about 2 months ago that gives GlaxoSmithKline and or any medically related 3rd party associated with the vaccine, total and complete amnesty not withstanding to any cases that were against them previous to the bill.

The Canadian government did the same here approximately 1 month later.

I didn't know about the 3rd party also being protected. And previous cases? These previous cases were not related to the swine flu?

At one point I saw a few dopy people getting "trained" and saw them having to "mix" something. All this makes me *very* uncomfortable. Myself I have no problem taking the risk for flu, but I don't wish to pass it on to others that are more vulnerable than myself...

The industry, the government, and all news media I've seen all get an F for communication.

Associated 3rd parties would be any other Pharma companies that are under contract of GlaxoSmithKline to make the vaccine in other parts of the world.

And "not withstanding to any cases that were against them previous to the bill." What is meant by that is, any legal trials that had been initiated against big Pharma companies BEFORE this new bill was passed, still hold the drug companies liable.
