Larry Parnes' letter reads: "I'm sorry to say that EMI decided to flip this record to the B-side in my absence on vacation. Both Billy and I are most upset about this, but if the B-side doesn't happen within four weeks, we have asked them to flip back to SIlly Boy Blue."

I know this record and owned it on a compilation I bought in the 1980s. But I never knew Bowie wrote it! The sound comes out of the left speaker only, is this a problem for everyone?

It's my fault, although it's not quite all one speaker, but to redo it would mean having to remove all previous comments, so I haven't.

I am familiar with that problem. I have photographs I uploaded which, looking at now, I realise I could improve immensely by cropping an edge off, but I don't want to because they have lots of comments and viewings recorded!

It's probably only worth doing if the original was in stereo.

Billy at his most spiritually voiced. I can't stop playing this. David Bowie should be proud that Billy did his song beautifully inspired by the theme. Touching orchestration and a sensitive soul is what you did Billy. Respect
