Dang, this brings back a not-so-happy memory from 2 years ago. Me family and I were right at the bottom of the canyon when a flash flood happened. It was a clear day only a few seconds ago. Thunder lit a tree on fire near us and is was crazy trudging about a mile up the canyon when freezing water is stinging your body and slipping constantly on the wet mud, almost falling of the canyon. Thank God we all made it out safely. :)
Well done video. Thanks for sharing. We recently took photos about 2 months ago of Canyon De Chelly, but didn't see some of the areas you captured on your video. We enjoyed the journey.
You are right. Spider Rock is "Moving Rock" in MacKenna's Gold, my favorite movie, the one that made me get interested in the Southwest. I've been at this Canyon twice. I absolutely love it!
