For now i can say, that however u may had dislike the third season, u never blame it for a careless play up of all and every single character. And Slayers exactly ended for me in this season by this ending with a very warm impression remained. That were beautiful times.
AJdvilx,you are right, in SLAYERS REVOLUTONS, ZEL is the bodyguard of AMELIA because he comeback to saillune and PHILIONEL(the father of AMELIA)converts he, her bodyguard.
I hope in Slayers Evolution R (Yes 5 season) they adapt well the manga counterpart cause its the most amelia/zel we have had in a long time...revolution didnt have any zel/amelia moment exceot that zel its now amelias bodyguard...so I hope in this season they turn it around they already did in the manga : ) which was a nice surprise...and out of nowhere like from amelia being totally distant with zel to crumble in tears when zel left with ozel and xelloss to talk to rezo uppss spoiler
