  • This is just peace....

  • just beautifull

  • Oh, yes. I agree ... though I'm not familiar with what all is included in rabbinic law. It was others who viewed Jesus as a law breaker, not himself. He said that he came to fulfill the law, not abolish it. They were the laws (probably rabbinic as you say) that prohibited individuals from doing good to others out of a pretense of cleanliness or holiness that Jesus most challenged.

Regarding xTemplar's comment of kosher eating, Jesus addressed this in a broader sense of cleanliness in Mark

  • I don't know how you say it english... but I think that is the wall of sorries... really don't know how it is in english but Its a beutifull place! =)

  • כל הטוב בא מתורת ישראל

  • matisyahu is one of the only real artists of this millenium. 30 years from now, when I'm looking back on the music of my youth and reminiscing, matisyahu will be one of the few greats that I will bother to remember.

  • @tehcomputer Duddddde im with you man! :D

  • as a non-religious subscriber, i find this mans music beautiful and moving. Its humble yet wise.

  • ''like Christ walk through here.''- the end words of the video.

  • è troppo emozionante!!

  • Could someone explain me why he says "the reflection of imperfection". I could understand, the reflection of perfection: the perfection of G-D. But I don't get why it's the reflection of imperfection.

  • @SMk199126 Because mankind was not created perfect. We are not like G*d, though godly ("Psalm 82:6 I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most High." ). And since this is not our eternal true life, but our souls in a mortal vehicle, this life is a reflection of the real life, who we are on earth a reflection of our imperfect true self. Not sure this is also Matisyahu's view, it is MINE.

  • @SMk199126 dude it means man is imperfect.

  • @SMk199126 dude it means man is imperfect. adamic nature and alll...

  • "a man is just a man" :) one love yall

  • This has left me completely breathless, such a beautiful poet, and so beautifully soulful.

Where abouts in Israel is he performing?

  • @backfromthedead22 In Jerusalem, on the right side of the Kotel.

  • POWERFUL @ 2:44

  • Beautiful...humility we are all just flesh

  • All this muslim stuff is dumb. Its a music video go find a fucking forum and have at it. It pisses me off that all you assholes find every oppurtunity to argue you fucks ruin everything fuck off

  • Matisyahu changed my life

  • The one line of his that bothers me is "we are the felection of imperfection" we were created in gods image

we are the imperfect reflection of perfection

  • @yakeo653 doesn't he say "reflection of imperfection?"

  • @yakeo653 we were created in God's image but man is inheriently falable and imperfect, therefore "we are the reflection of imperfection". He's not saying we are reflecting that god is imperfect, but rather that man as a whole is reflected as imperfect...hence again..."we are the reflection of imperfection".

  • @yakeo653 we were created in God's image but man is inheriently falable and imperfect, therefore "we are the reflection of imperfection". • Why does make me want to cry? He almost sounds like an Old Testament prophet.

  • @sankow2 i feel u on that

  • i love this song and i am roman catholic it's still a song that hits your heart keep doing it Matisyahu send the message of love and hope

  • Comment removed

  • You cant label any people groups by the actions of a few.

  • @Bcordon I totally agree

  • what bothers me most is that the jews are able to preach peace and wage war at the same time... look at the current situation in the mid east. the jews hold the power to bring peace with the palestinians. if need be why doesnt the jews just crush the palestinians? no need to dehumanize them.

  • Baruhk Hashem matis!!!

    Adonai (Echad)!!!

  • My truth as unto my understanding is ,

It's not people who are good. We are capible of doing good deeds, but there's only one that's good(The Most High)!!! It's is he that allows and bestows all good and or bad!!! Not Jews or Muslim,or Americans(etc).

It's he that has given this minister this gift.

  • so you are saying men should attribute their actions either good or bad to their Lord? so if a man kills another man, should we blame the killer or his Lord?

  • I might be going too around April maybe ill see you ;D it will be my third time IF I go.

  • qe buena rola

  • this song is great!

  • yeah i saw it a lot time ago!

  • you see the face on the stone?

  • the dude being interviewd in the end said, its cool coz christ walked through here and got cut,i wanted to here what he was gonna say.jews christians its all about love.uploader must be a jew.lol

  • It should come as no surprise that Matisyahu remains a staunch supporter of Zionism. Zionism like Apartheid in SA and Segregation in the US guarantees and justifies Orthodox Jews like him a privileged status. Contrarily Reggae and Rastafari promote equal access to rights and justice for all. Zionism like Apartheid and Segregation granted special citizenship rights to some citizen by virtue of their unique ancestry, culture or genes, all to maintain established positions of inequality.

  • You should read the bible in order to understand Zion

  • I believe Matisyahu is Hasidic.

  • He is, but also a zionist.

  • magical

  • Its amazing to read so many Anti Israel comments on Youtube.. So much hostility towards a people that have done so much for the world and human kind.. The more i see this attitude towards jews and israel the more i realize that we have to be thankful for the miracle that is Israel... we are .02% of the worlds populations yet we have outlived every civilization in this worlds history... Long Live Israel.. Peace

  • what does that mean that jews have outlived every civilization in the worlds history? The Egyptians are still here, the Chinese, the Persians, the Indians. Hinduism i think is the oldest still practiced religion in the world. Every person alive today has descendants that trace back to when time began. We're all God's chosen people, each and every one of us.

  • Comment removed

  • Every person's roots trace back to Pangia. We're all the same race. People are stupid.

  • @TotalKaosE do you know this to be completely true?

  • @nathanz99

    yup

  • Before the Hebrews were exiled by the Assyrians. Hindustan (Modern Day India and Pakistan) were made of about 82 countries. They practiced anima religion. Worshiping elements, nature, stars etc. When some of the Hebrews were disperesed in Hindustan they brought the concept of 1 God. Book of Vedas haves prophecies concering the son of Parvati. Yet because of man desire 2 rebel. Caste system came to be & adding other gods making it false. Look up "hinduism came from the bible". Please have OpenMind

  • @rock90123 i agree god created us all and we all are his children

  • @RDbushi Same, what i got from the bible and matisyahu is that we are all so special and worth so much and most of us fail to see how special we all are

  • @rock90123 beautiful words

  • @rock90123 well Jewish ppl were here first all those races are decendants of Jewish ppl thats how we are all children of JESUS bcuz we are all Jewish/Israelites. so when u hear ppl making jokes about Jewish race stand up for urself n tell them their Jewish whether they like it or not

  • @beaverpleaser420 I'm sorry that's not true. It is a quaint thought though

  • @rock90123 whats a quaint

  • false, God's children shouldn't be following different truths. There is only one truth, found in the Bible.

  • @mugatusrevenge

you are kinda funny then why aren't u following the rules jesus followed ?

    sabbath,eating kosher etc..

jesus was a jew so to be a "good " christian u need to follow a jewish lifestyle !

  • @xTemplar1 This is true..It is also the reasone why Jews do not see him as the messiah because of there pagan example.

  • @LivingTheTorah

i mean im a christian but i live a jewish life style i go to the synagoge and the jews there know im a christian but i mean it works really wel xD

i dont look like a hasidic jew or an orthodox but i eat kosher i do the sabbath i try to follow the 613 (except cloathing, dating a jevvish girl ofcourse...) personally i dont C catholics etc.. as real followers of jesus/yeshua i myself really like the messianic jevvs !

  • @xTemplar1 Then that is awesome man! you are messianic, most messianics are not even Jewish, they just want to get away from the church traditions and get back to true worship of Yah...I think it is great brother...much love.. God bless.

  • @xTemplar1 Messianic Judaism doesn't exist.

  • @xTemplar1 Jesus' teachings do not command his followers to adhere to all aspects of the law. He himself was considered a law-breaker by zealous Jews of his time ... healing on the sabbath, picking grain to eat with his disciples on the sabbath. Jesus upheld and promoted the moral law, but challenged aspects of ceremonial and civil law. His disciples wrote the new testament (inspired by God) to further Jesus' teachings ...of messianic fulfillment, and instructions for a life responsive to God

  • @msujedi Yahshuah did not consider Himself a G-d's Law(Torah) breaker, in fact He fulfiled all of it. He was talking about some aspects of the Rabinnic law, complettely different.

  • @lupekary לא נכון בכלל.תורת ד' תמימה משיבת נפש.לא להתבלבל יש בורא,אחד.ויש נבראים

  • @msujedi אין ריבוי אלוקות.

  • @113344557766 Before I reply, can you explain what you mean by "no other multi-divinity"? I'd rather not reply based on my assumption of what you mean. Thanks.

  • @rock90123 you've spoken for each and everyone of all of us i think. peace

  • @rock90123

well with the ancient egyptians they dont live in egypt anymore they live more south africa (black africa)

  • @rock90123 THE JEWS HAVENT OUTLIVED ANYBODY THEY JUST HAD THE BIGGEST GENOCIDE IN HISTORY, JUST THE OTHERS ARE NOW SUFFERING AND IF NOT MORE, WHY IS EVERYONE ALWAYS STUCK WIT THIER HARD HEADS ON RELIGION ALL THE TIME WHETHER YOU BELIEVE IN GOD OR NOT, U COME FROM THE LIGHT OR THE DARK HAVING NOTING TO DO WITH SKIN COLOR RACE OR RELIGION JUST AS MATISYAHU SAYS WE DIE AND GOD WILL JUDGE ALL EVERYBODY AND EVERYTHING. DONT QUESTION THINGS THAT ARE TO GREAT FOR YOU TO UNDERSTAND

  • @87MsLI relax bro. Life's too short for capital letters

  • @metalic699 there are older cultures, but everything else I'll agree with you on man

    shalom :)

  • apa6000

    Congratulations, You have been brainwashed

and Matisyahu is a strong zionist

he is an orthodox jew, almost all of the orthodox jews are zionists, the anti-zionist jews are called neturei karta, they dont buy israeli products, they are not going to the western wall or the temple mount, and they certainly do not perform to jewish settlers in israel and the west bank...

  • Sorry, meant to give you a plus one, not a minus one.

  • Wow, this is not just a great song ... Its a good prayer --- not just a good prayer, but a great song ... now lets hope people listen. Runi

  • to "linuz011" Your ignorance is reflected on your comment... Theres one God with many names, respect that...

  • hey linuz011 how dumb are you? I cant see how any person could be so quick to pass judgement. Its shows your obvious lack of knowledge. I'm not jewish or muslim but I still have respect for both. Its people like you that are cause for the problems we have today. You apparently dont listen to what Matisyahu has to say so why listen to his music. He speaks of peace and happiness not of racism and hate. The world would be better if it were not for people like you.

  • We're the REFLECTION of imperfection, Come from the infinite place of limitation. Rejoice in these days, make a correction, we're the completion.

Forgive and let live, peace for all.

  • Kind of ironic since you don't have any idea of why i don't like them. They come to sweden, they do NOTHING here, they don't try to work, they don't try to be polite, they dont even try to learn the language.

5/10 of the rapes going on today are by muslims who doesent respect the that swedish girls don't wear cloth to cover their hair.

We got prisons where 80% of the people siting there are muslims. So i'm not being being quick to pass judgement in any way.

  • And by the way, when i got spare change, i often put it in the support boxes (next to the desk) That goes to starving kids. And after i'm done with my studdies i'm going to Kenya as a volunteer for half a year. What did YOU ever do to make this world a better place?

Arent you the one that's being quick to judge me for not liking muslims? I have my reasons and i stand for them.

  • Linuz011 please spare your change and please don't go to Kenya looking at poor children. For every 1$ you give in aid Western companies steal $13 in unfair trade. If you really want to make a change start doing something against those companies RIGHT HERE in the West. If people in developing countries had access to fair trade there would be no need for your Aid.

  • I'm not jew. But i still say : fuck muslims..

  • I`m a jew. And I still say : fuck idiots

  • "Israel will be a light unto the nations"

    G-d Bless

  • @CanadianSoldier just a question is it bad too write god??

srry if i was bad now but i wanna know

  • @ollegoop9 Opinions are mixed and (like in many other matters) it depends on who you ask to, but as far as Ive been taught it's not bad or WRONG to write the word, especially if it's typing done in English (or any other language but Hebrew). However, it is forbidden to write G-d's name (in Hebrew) in a paper or such, because someone could tear it or otherwise damage it, which is considered disrespectful. That's the short version.

And well, I write G-d just to play it safe. :P

Matis, you are helping to make sure that the memory of the ones who died in the last millenia or two are not forgotten and you have the decency to make sure the folk across from you all should not be forgotten in their afflictionsa, as it has been said, "I cared about my adversary", in some other way! Good luck, Israel! From, Christians!
