The movies to watch are...Under the Red Hood, Superman All-Stars (my GOD), Wonderwoman, Crisis on Two Earths (for some reason I keep watching that), Apocalypse (the baddest fight scenes EVER...TRUST me...), Superman-Doomsday, Public Enemies and Green Lantern...in THAT ORDER lol...

You guys seem jaded towards Marvel. I guess you are both DC fan boys. The only DC characters anyone knows other than people who actually read the comics are the core JL. I am a huge Marvel fan but I can admit the animated movies were not great. Over all though Marvel has a better list of characters (my opinion only) but they don't seem to push any of them except the X-Men which were and still are the worst of Marvel. The Avengers should be pushed much harder.

Marvels flicks are good for a younger audience while the DC flicks are much more mature and just overall better written.

Marvel always screws around and gets studios that want to do their own takes on how characters look, and the stories really usually aren't that good. DC trumps them in both areas...plus DC can either get their original Batman/JLU VA's or someone who sounds like the OGs, but Marvel is just all over the place, with new va's every outing who are unsuited to their characters.

How i see it. Marvel:

Ultimate avengers: It's ok. Ultimate avengers 2: Same. The invincible iron man: It's crap. Doctor Strange: It's also crap. Next avengers: Meh. Hulk vs. wolverine: Awesome sauce :D. Hulk vs. thor: meh.

DC: Superman doomsday: meh. Dc The new frontier: AWESOME! SM/BM P.E: meh

I find Superman Batman: Public Enemies the best DC movie since Gotham Knight, Marvel's movies however looks better than DC. But still, I vote for DC

I am a Marvel fan, but have to admit that the DC animated movies are better. Heck they could have made some of them into live action films (like Wonder Woman) and I reckon they would be pretty popular with mainstream audiences.

DC has been kicking Marvel's ass on this front. Mainly due to the fact that they have Bruce Timm producing them. The Wonder Woman film was amazing by the way.

@therealmanos yes bruce timm and his gang have made most of the better superhero stuff out today. Props to Marvel for Planet Hulk tho!!! Also Hulk Vs. was 2 great fights with bad endings as the rest of the movies...
