Anyone can detect the accent. Sometimes she sounds like she doesn't have any, but many times when she speaks english between the japanese, she does have accent, even though she does pronounce in a 'native english speaker style', if you know what I mean. You don't have to be a professional linguist.. you just have to listen without rose-tinted earpieces (-8

Yes, she speaks very authenticly in that video, but it's a short amount of time, and I did detect small accent even there. In some other videos, however, she's not always as 'accentless', you know. Perhaps it varies.. I am sure my finnish would have an accent if I lived abroad for years. When she teaches english to the other girls, she definitely pronounces many words and sentences with accent / in a very weird way sometimes.

Having said that, her english and pronounciation is much better than mine, and I definitely have a heavy accent in english. So, she can speak 'almost completely fluently without an accent' sometimes, but it's not -completely- without an accent (I doubt if anyone's english is - people always have some personality in the way they talk anyway).. She's very good nevertheless, and at times it'd be easy to think she's a native english speaker.
