  • In a way, this and "Photograph" could easily be categorized as Harrison hits since he composed, produced and performed on the tracks, including the classic riff for this track.

  • RE: Ringo having more #1 hits... There is some correlation between people who have #1 hits being extremely disproportionate to song writers who write albums. e.g. Walkin' on Sunshine and all of Ringo's post Beatle stuff...it's because they are only writing a formula FOR A HIT !!! Quite a few #1 hits are from people who have not written a prolific amount of work.

  • McCartney is listed in Guinness World Records as the most successful musician and composer in popular music history, with 60 gold discs and sales of 100 million singles. His song "Yesterday"one as Beatles is listed as the most covered song in history—by over 3,500 artists and has been played more than 7,000,000 times on American television and radio.

  • are you sure?

  • USA #1's - Ringo 2, John 2, George 3, Paul 9 (including duets and w/ Wings). See my other comment for details.

  • believe this, Ringo had more #1 than Lennon,Harrison, and Paul in their solo careers. Macca had most of his with Wings.

  • Ringo didn't really have that many hits but the songs that were hits deserved to be hits like this song here.

  • Tell me which songs are these, please. Thank you. I knew about Don't Pass Me By in Sweden.

  • arnoldwarrior15 - In USA - Ringo # 1's - 2 - Photograph, You're 16, (It Don't Come Easy #1 in Cashbox, not Billboard); George #1's - 3 - My Sweet Lord, Give Me Love, Got My Mind Set On You; Paul #1's - 9 - 0 by himself but 1 w/Linda, 1 w/Stevie Wonder, 1 w/ Michael Jackson, 6 w/ Wings; John #1's - 2 - Whatever Gets You Through The Night, Starting Over

  • I just love ringo!!!

    very talented really

  • I love this song! Really one of my favorites of his!

  • Great song indeed. The audience loved him. That is nice to hear. To sing and play the drums must not be easy and he sounded great.

  • My favorite moment in rock history is Ringo forgetting the words here, and how he reacts and still keeps the beat, and is unfazed and cool, as befits a Beatle and a drummer.

  • If you said nothing, I wouldn't have noticed! The guy's a pro.

  • I own this concert on DVD its amazing. im sure its on youtube but after this you guys should check out Jumpin Jack Flash medley. its amazing

  • Ringo's BEST!!!!!!!!

    Also recommend

JOHN: WHATEVER GETS YOU THROUGH THE NIGHT

    PAUL:NINETEEN HUNDRED AND EIGHTY FIVE

  • Ringo is the man better than anyother drummer in today's lifestyle.

  • Great song but damn they were playing this song in a hurry.

  • Yeah...they just fly through it. I thought they missed a verse because it went by so fast!
