My challenge to Jasiri X & Alyona: Meet w/ a Black TP leader. Come on. What are you afraid of? That you will find out that you have been wrong in your quest for racism w/the TP. I'll provide that list again.
Black TP leaders: William Owens, Alfonzo Rachel, Kevin Jackson, Bob Parks, Mychal Massie, Alan Keyes, Niger Innis(National Spokesperson for the Congress of Racial Equality (CORE)), Mary Baker, Selena Owens, Robert Broadus, Wayne Perryman, Sonia Schmidt, David Webb, Nate Whigham, Herman Cain, Lloyd Marcus, Jennifer Burke, Deroy Murdock, Deneen Borelli, Mason Weaver, Angela McGlowan, Kim Wade, Tillman Calvert, Carol Swain and Ken Gladney, Franz Kebreau
YES YES YES YES YES YES THE TIDE IS TURNING PEOPLE GETTING SICK OF ALL THAT NEGATIVE MINSTREL PERFORMANCES KEEP YOUR EARS TO THE STREETS FOR CHUCK PLATINUM AND CRAZY MOD SQUAUD
Thank you Alyona for showing the world that there are intelligent rappers. Rap is an art, but the way it is today is more like a minstrel show. A lot of these comments showed that people have negative preconceptions about rap, you've opened their minds. Thanks again!
@DeeSee25 I wrote a long blog debunking stereotypes associated with hip hop such as misogyny, materialism and gang violence. Send me an inbox if your interested in reading it
I was really pleasantly surprised by this video. I thought this guy would be an idiot, because of my preconceptions about many American Rappers, but Jasiri X was intelligent and well spoken and really touched on some thought provoking issues. He was completely right about the way corporate record labels are affecting music, taking out any elements that may be controversial.

To be honest, I was sort of expecting this guy to respond to any questions with :
"Jim DeMint started the recession"
But he actually showed me honesty and intelligence, if only Sarah Palin could answer questions like that.
