  • Of course the commercial is sexist, I guess..it really doesn't even make sense. But that's how it was in the 1960's, that how people thought, different from today..40 years is a long time.

  • Strong enough for a man, but ph balanced for 1/2 a man.

  • I was ten then, and when I heard the Score comercial, a million memories came out. Almost stronger than the sense of smell in bringing back memories.

  • he actually says "snap"

  • Me thinks whomever conceived these commercials in the 1960's were taking something a bit stronger than Bufferin...

  • "I'm twice the man you are!" ...........What level of mental illness would make a man say that to a woman?

  • @ignoblius Uhhh...Isn't this a cartoon personality speaking in this commericial??!

  • That is beyond the pale, even in Cartoonland.

  • That's such a load of sexist nonsense.

  • That was too funny with that superhero.

  • I was only in second grade then.

  • That is one odd line, having a man telling a woman "I'm twice the man you are!"

  • "I'm twice the man you are!!!" lol

  • Joseph Cotten pitched Bufferin extensively during the 1964-'65 season. Since this minute of ad time was "controlled" by Bristol-Myers {the makers of Bufferin}, there's also a "Score" ad rounding out the minute.....

  • love those moldy oldie commericals
