  • Having been fortunate enough to have marched again this year it makes me proud to have served my Queen and country, but saddened at the loss of so many of my brave comrades, every year there are less and less still able to make the march past and parade for the memory of the fallen. What a fitting tribute to those brave heroes who made the ultimate sacrifice for us to be able to live the life we have before us. RIP my brave boys.,

  • makes us proud to be british,my grandad served and was killed in 1941 in france loved to have known him... now my son of 20 is in training to serve our great country... im more scared for him but thats what he wants to do god bless all of you fighting for us xxx

  • I'm proud to be British. 11th of November at 11 o'clock. I will be remembering all of those who fought for our country, R.I.P.<3.

  • this is a incredibly moving video. I wear a poppy with pride as both my Grandpa and Grandad were at Dunkerque (Dunkirk) as well as for all the other Heros that serve in our armed forces.

  • @c4gregjockca - While these men you liken to "shit" are facing the enemy and risking their lives, you prove what massive balls you have by insulting people from a remote location with no fear. And you, the Internet Keyboard Warrior. Your quick wit and repartee may see you succeed in life, that is, if you manage to live past puberty. But, joking aside, I hope you mature mentally one day and live to regret these comments as only then will you suffer the indignity of such an appalling attitude.

  • Made me cry! we will remember them!

  • Thank you for uploading this!

  • Pretty moving video

  • Very nicely done. Lest we forget!

  • Lest we forget guys...

  • Very thoughtfully compiled. Well done and thanks!

  • We are because of theose before us. Generations of fallen serving for our today. We who have served, we will remember them. Pax.

  • Why is it that wars are fought by young men yet started by old men. I have this week buried a dear friend and old muckers baby brother, he gave his life for the rest of us to live in freedom. God forgive me but I am so saddened at seeing all these young ones being inturned into the cold earth, I know what effect it is having on me, let alone the families of those we are burying. My heart goes out to you all. Am so fed up with sitting here with tears in my eyes, RIP my brave littluns.

  • To those who returned and those many who made the ultimate sacrifice, thank you and forever may your souls rest in peace.

  • May God Bless all Service men and Women this Sunday morning, Blessed are the peace makers, and surley they will be blessed by God above. for a short few years I was a Soldier in the Bragade of Guards, I am so thankfull for that time. Quis Separabit.

  • WE SHOULD NEVER FORGET THE SACRAFICE THESE BRAVE WARRIORS DID FOR THE FREE WORLD. GOD BLESS THEM ALL AND GRANT THEM ETERNAL REST. (5TH INFANTRY, VIETNAM,1968)

  • @Micelli1947 WW1 had nothing to do with "the free world" had to do with a crazy war between imperialist powers including the US-which should have stayed out of the war all together. We had a lying democrat as President in 1917 who posed as the candidate of peace. Remind you of anybody today?

  • @RPenta: Yes but the aims of the Kaiser was to try and expand his small empire by trying to take France and Belgium while assisting Austria-Hungary in the Balklands. Considering what they did to the people Alsace-Lorraine by threatning to change their nationality unless they emigrated then imagine what would have happened If The British Empire hadn't remained true to its treaty obligations.

God bless all those in service.

  • rip to british service men and women who have fallen......from an irishman we are all human at end of day rip

  • may god be with you all i would like to thankyou all for your bravery you all will and shall always be remembered r.i.p god bless.

  • At the going down of the sun, and in the morning we will remember them.

    .

we are the dead, short days ago we lived, felt dawn saw sunset glow, loved and were loved and now we lie in flanders fields

  • thank you, you know that makes people cry, well it lifted me tonight. R.I.P Pete Judge

  • Thank you for posting this inspirational and heart wrenching video - and for doing such a great job with the production/editing. God Bless the fallen who honoured their pledge to make the ultimate sacrifice so that we may be safer.

  • I hope my daughters and I never see a drapped coffin or hear this song live, I wish no family had to endure it. We wait on the safe return of the regiment please dear God bring them home safe. To the fallen i wish eternal peace, to your families the world owe's you a debt, they stood tall they fought hard they paid the ultimate price. To those that criticise the forces my message to you is simple, put on the uniform, hold the rifle, defend OUR freedom then maybe you will earn RESPECT

  • For the seven people who disliked this !

If you're in MY country, get out, NOW, and STAY out !

We have a little respect for our fallen here - even if you don't !!!!

  • God Bless all our lads

  • Loving Lord, bless them forever in Your eternal peace.

Let the sounds of strife, the cries of battle, the wounds of war

be calmed for all eternity in Your loving and endless grace.

Let these great warriors find rest at last,

Ever reminded that we who are left behind

Cherish their spirit, honor their commitment,

    send them our love,

and will never forget the service that they gave.

Rest in peace, you more than brave men and women.

We shall never forget what you did for all of us.

  • @Nathanderweise8 -- Such profound words - Thankyou.

  • Remembering all those who have fallen, whatever their nationality.

I'd like to especially pay mention to William "Billy" McFadzean VC, from Lurgan, County Armagh (b. 9 October 1895), who served during the First World War.

On 1 July 1916 (aged 20), near Thiepval Wood, France, a box of grenades slipped into a crowded trench. Two of the safety pins in the grenades were dislodged. McFadzean threw himself on top of the grenades, which exploded, killing him but only injuring one other.

  • @chemicalmix

  • @chrisparktwittertwat very well said! he was indeed a true son of ulster may he rest in peace a true son of ulster

  • @stephcfc1 The British who died in the Ibrox ? I don't think you find that funny really do you.

  • To jinkedful, I agree with you but please do not be taken in by those people, in Luton the Muslims there have ganged up on the extremists and made it clear to them that they are giving British Muslims a bad name. The vast majority of Muslims in our country would never disrespect Rememberence Day or fallen soldiers, as usual a small minority give the majority a bad name.

  • Very beautiful video!!

    We Wil Remember Them

  • I can't believe anyone would burn a poppy...

  • LEST WE FORGET great vid very moving

  • They shall not grow old as we who are left grow old.

Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.

At the going down of the sun and in the morning,

    WE WILL REMEMBER THEM.

  • totall respect served in the army not as brave as you all where served queen country for 8 years proud too have served because of people like you your heroes

  • A moving tribute, thank you. Lest we forget

  • @babooo1973 yes i do know that irish men fought in the somme under the union jack,,after we were promised home rule,,and we know how that worked out dont we,,the brits went to war in 1914 on the basis that they were fighting for the freedom of small nations,,where was eire freedom? And the irish patriots who fought the british are not as u call them terrorists,,what they done in eire the french resistance done in ww2,,they fought anyway they could,,are u saying the french were terrorists aswell

  • @PATRICKEIRE Id like to add that i also had relatives who fought and died in both wars and allthough i belive they should have never joined the british army, that was there choice to make,,but to call those irish people terrorists who fought the brits for irish freedom really is wrong,,after all what would the brits have done if the germans had invaded in 1940?Sat back and done nothing?

And we see the brits making all the same mistakes again in afganistan now,at the cost of lives on both sides

  • Proud to wear a poppy. We in Ulster thank our fellow British soldiers from England, Scotland and Wales for the sacrifice they made on our behalf.

    They will never be forgotten.

  • Everyone owes a debt of gratitude to every fallen soldier whos died for us to have our freedom .Im proud to wear a poppy .

  • lest we forget our fallen HEROES

  • Im from ireland and im a republican but i respect the fact that the brits remember there dead,,what i dont understand is why there is so much pressure put on no uk citzens who live/work in uk to wear the poppy..look a lot of people have serious issues with the conduct of elements of the brits the world over and they should be free to have the right not to wear the poppy,,also in eire i have several english mates and on easter i wudnt expect them to wear an easter lilly pin

  • @PATRICKEIRE

I see your point but, why is St. Hallows day (Oct. 31) such a big event, and every child gets dressed up in dangerous costumes (no meaning getting dressed up is dangerous) far from the horrors of war. Wearing a poppy is like saying please and thank you it is manners. A mark of respect and something I believe everybody should do. Wear a poppy and attend a local memorial. Its the least we can do.

  • If I should die, think only this of me:

That there's some corner of a foreign field

That is for ever England. There shall be

    In that rich earth a richer dust concealed;

A dust whom England bore, shaped, made aware,

Gave, once her flowers to love, her ways to roam,

A body of England's, breathing English air,

Washed by the rivers, blessed by the suns of home.

  • Can the maker of this vid just delete the horried comments, would100% make this vid more enjoyable if you get me

  • reroute your leaflets to number 10, is the government who should care first , less brass less unjustifiable wars , less money wasted by the MOD on BAE systems, proper equipment on the front line, care and pensions for veterans and the troop

  • Really well done, rangersRJK ! Can you please tell me who is playing on this recording, and what CD it is on? I'm putting something together for my son's high school Remembrance Day ceremony and this track would be perfect. This is a very moving tribute to UK forces, past and present. I'm sure they greatly appreciate it.

  • They shall not grow old as we that are left grow old, age shall not weary them nor the years condemn, at the going down of the sun and in the morning, we will remember them.

  • Poignant and wonderful ! thankyou for posting!

  • honourable age does not depend on length of days, nor is the number of years a true measure of life.

  • FANTSTIC all i have to say. wont lower myself to they're level

  • @mickkey7 It's been happening for thousands of years and will continue for as long as mankind exists. However, that doesn't make it any less sad or the deaths any less heroic.

There's always someone out there wanting to take away our freedom and I'm forever indebted to those willing to take a stand against said people.

  • Up the lads, never forgotten.

  • Respect in life, honour in death.

True heroes represent the British army.

    Lest we forget.

  • Never so little blinded so me much. Lost friends i will never see again but i will allways remember

  • Played at Dear Williams Funeral. One day short of his 90th. Served between 1934 and 1947 in the Life Guards. A Very Proud and Special man. You will never be forgotten x

  • too sad to watch !!!!!!!!

    Bless all the fallen,

  • where can i downlaod this song because its a good one.

  • dad i still miss you. I hope you are finally at peace.

    All my love, Robert.

  • greatness to your dad

  • in memory of my dad, served in ww 2, played at his funeral. God bless you R.I.P.

  • We Owe These Heros Everything !

  • Oki how was it an idiotic comment? And how am i an ignoramous? Your saying its wrong to mourn the dead. But we should thank god instead that such men lived. I understand that a just dont get why you would think that we should mourn such heros that go out and fight and die for there country. My Papa and greatgrandad fought there country so was it wrong for me to mourn them and many of there friends that died?

  • God save England and the U.S.A....together we stand.

  • I'm not sure gods like to play favourites like that. Blessing one country over another, sounds very ungodly like.

  • The UK not just England.

  • I stand corrected.

  • It is foolish and wrong to mourn the men who have died. Rather we should thank God that such men lived...... Gen G Patton Jnr

  • How can you say its foolish and wrong to MOURN the men who have died? That is the stupidist and sadest thing i have ever heard.

  • @ann2k6 I think he was pointing to the fact that we should be grateful for what they did for us, maintain their memory and strive to be worthy of them.

  • So lovely. I an American, wish you Brits could have posted the words to this hymn. Why? Because To really know Christ is to love Him.

  • A Wonderful Tribute !

  • Brovo Zulu

  • never forget

  • A very touching tribute.. God Bless all our soldiers

  • Lions led by donkeys...

Whatever your position on the war or whatever nation of the UK you're from, please write to your MP and make sure the troops are properly equipped.

  • its actually lions led by lambs....as for the rest I agree completely!!! good shout

  • I was using the expression because it's stood the test of time... donkeys have actually made a massive contribution to winning many wars, and they're lovely (albeit stubborn) animals.

I'm Franco-Scottish and I have friends and family in Her Britannic Majesty's Armed Forces, as well as one of my relatives buried in the North of France (he was unlucky enough to die a couple of weeks before the armistice in WWI). Hence my personal anger at the way the wars are being mismanaged.

  • Have you ever seen a properly managed war?!?!?!

  • God rest their souls

  • Lest we forget..............

  • Lest We Forget.

  • Could someone remind me why we are in Afghanistan? I pray we don't go to Iran

  • I wish to pay tribute to all the troops who fought and died in the trenches of my homeland, Flanders. RIP and honour to the British, Canadian and all other troops who died in Flanders Fields to preserve the freedom we now enjoy each day. We can never repay the ones who stood and fell, protecting us. May your souls find rest but never be forgotten...

  • They died today for our tomorrow. Rest in peace you brave souls. Lest we forget.

  • Remember our fallen by taking part in the 2 minutes silence at 11 o'clock today. Our nations official act of remembrance on the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month. Lest We Forget...

  • IRA are scum! They just sit behind a wall shoot someone dead and run away! They want a war but have not got the bollox to stand by it!

  • @wembley05 sorry i meant thumbs up

im para mate i hate the fuckin pira

  • @wembley05 Here Here mate.

  • @wembley05 and just what do u think the SAS/RUC/ and there state backed loyalists groups did in ireland,,they fought the very same way the IRA did,,but the diff is that at least the IRA have admitted to the actions they carried out unlike the brits,,even ur own courts know admit to bloody sunday yet ur army still lies and pretends it never done anything wrong....and now ye are doing it all over again in afganistan,,will ye ever learn..keep out of other peoples nations

  • @PATRICKEIRE Oh here we go again! Crappping on about 11 people killed by the British! Does that make up for the 1,500 people killed by the IRA over 25 years? I am sure there was bad on both sides! How about the many other murders that have never been documented also? I would love England to keep out of every other nation and shut its borders and deport everyone who wasn't born there! It would solve a lot of problems!

  • @wembley05 all you want is money us brits are proud too be british you want too live like lepers do it

  • @wembley05 We Will Never forget the people who died for our freedom.... 40million dead in WWI and 60Million Dead in WWII. FUKIN DISCRACE.. We will Remember them

  • @TheFRAG1398 Totally agree! ALL GOOD PEOPLE REMEMBER THEM AND HONOUR THEM BY OUR ACTIONS IN THE WAY WE CHOOSE TO LIVE OUR LIVES! Unfortunately too many people think its ok to live like scum and do not have any respect for those who gave us our freedom! Regards and respect to you!

  • Great video, irish republicans would do well too remember that we fought so they could be free and if we had not of fought for the freedom of the world Ireland would have been next on the Nazi's list and therefore they would have been living under the Nazi jackboot so they can thank us for their freedom, then again the IRA did support the Nazis so maybe they would have prefered tolive under the Nazis, fascist bastards they are

RIP all our fallen soldiers we shall remember them. No Surrender

  • Tens of thousands of volunteer Irish fought alongside the British in every war single war we have ever fought in history, and good soldiers they were!

    A British Soldier.

  • Yes they did,and the IRA supported the nazis and drew up plans with them to take over Ireland, remember the brave soldiers from the Irish Republic who fought against fascism while their very own country and people turned their backs on them ! lest we forget.

  • My Husband is a serving british soldier and has been serving away now for 4 months,

My husband, father and grandfather have all served their country and im a very proud of each one of them

  • Harry Walters fought at El Alamein. Still remembered.

  • RIP Our Fallen Soldiers

    God Bless!

  • I am not a fan of the British, but I have to admit that tens of thousands of young men from the United Kingdom, Australia, Canada and New Zealand (as well as the USA) have risked their lives or their limb fighting tyranny. When Hitler wanted to eradicate the national sovereignty of Poland and others by creating a large nation out of many different countries the British said no.

I hate to say it, but the fact that the British inflicted Nazi Germany's first ever military defeat is incredible.

  • They paid for the price of freedom of with their own blood. We will remember them, we will honour them.

  • no better stronger more united nation when things get tough in the world ENGLISH AND PROUD

Spread out to the desolate buildings, keep your heads low, hide behind any obsticals you can find until you get to the building. Try to flank them in groups of 3, i know it will be tough but stay back as much as you can and when times get rough, move as fast as you can. Never give up hope, England is behind you!!

YOU ARE OUR HEROES and may you rest in peace with God Almighty who will abide with thee!

    We are proud of you!

  • RIP to every service man & woman who have lost their lives, for our great nation.

  • i have quote that i remember that maybe the right word •Anyone who fights, even with the most modern weapons, against an enemy who dominates the air, is like a primitive warrior who stands against modern forces, with the same limitations and the same chance of success.

  • Outstanding video, had tears in my eyes, WE WILL REMEMBER THEM - REST IN PEACE BOYS !!!!

  • God Bless the troops

May we NEVER forget the fallen..

  • Some had families waiting, for others their only family would be the men they bled beside, there were no bands, flags no honor guards to welcome them home, they went to war because their country ordered them to, but in the end they fought not for country or their flag, they fought for each other this is watch our armed forces are doing today. may they all come home safe and well keep up the gd work up

  • God bless their families..may their souls RIP

  • You know how to bring a grown man to tears rangersRJK. Stand at ease the fallen, you have done your duty. Thank you for my freedom and that of my children. God bless you all
