i always wanted to go around on those things.... but, i was a pro skier by the time i was 10... so, if i had, it would have all been an 'act' and i am not that good of an actor.. lastly: so though i could not 'go around', the next best thing i did, was, as i got off, i would purposely push the corner of the chair, as i got off, so i could make it swing, and hit the pole as it went around... then the lift operator, would come out and yell at me.. ha! ;0)

@xhottwingsx some people have never skied before, so this could have been their first go. I couldn't get off the chairlift up until quite recently, and i've skied 10 times before, I used to simply jump off halfway for untouched powder.

@666megadeth666m you do realize how stupid jumping is right? You can cause the lift to derope from bouncing the chair, which is what happened in sugarloaf, if your a beginner get a lesson, period. Skiing and snowboarding are not something you can learn on your own
