Thats a very well behaved dog and it understands its place but dogs should be given respect. You should teach a child to respect a dog as an animal. The dog is tolerateing the child and that is proper but it shouldnt be psuhed to breaking point. Give a dog some respect for its behaviour and tolerance.
@plutoamun i think it's a neurological problem who boxers has. I lost my boxer with a similar problem. Started in one leg, then it passed to the two legs and she lost the motion. It is quite common in boxer, unfortunately.
Some breed needs a very strict training program. Boxers don't though. If it gets stubborn and wont accept your command, don't try to force it. They are very willing to learn and probably the most intelligent dog breed but if you "push" a boxer it will do more harm than good. Play for a while and come back to it later and eventually it will learn it.

The only downside is they're a fairly newer breed and do not live long -- health may become an issue; mine had cancer at age 6 (removed successfully). Died at 12 from kidney failure, and 12 is OLD for a boxer! ALSO- do not crop their ears. Good luck
Linus has got to be the best dog ever.. he is so calm and obedient.. i have watched almost every video and at first i was like omg that baby is so small and fragile.. but as i keep on watching i realize Linus is so sweet with her and she loves him..

It's amazing that dogs can pick up the behavior of a child and act appropriately by not being too rough or pulling the child down. This is how my dog, Boudreaux, was with kids: a very patient and understanding dog.

I am Muslim and although we can keep dogs as pets, there are some restrictions that would unsuitable for people with limited spaces because we still need to limit the contact....so I am content by just watching your videos and the occasional trips to my friend's place to play wth his dog, Whiskey... :)

YOU GUYS ROCK!!!!! We have a 5 year daughter, Braelyn, and a 7 year old Boxer, Baxter! These videos remind me and my wife of our family. Our only regret is not recording anything. Now, with these vids of yours, I have something to remind me when I need to remember our boxer. Thank goodness he is still with us! We have done all of the same things. I love these. I adore her, and Linus is a wise and patient boxer. Hard to believe she has grown SO MUCH! Thank you for sharing these little slices of your life . Often they are my "Moment of Zen" ^____^
