  • tell me how to defeat ludope please..=(

  • @jackpisco trainer :D

  • yeah but after about 3 turns, reinforcements come, and thats about 5 unions. the main problem is that they are far, and either me or them spend one turn on hust getting to them. second turn there is some chance but still, after reinforcements come, i have very little chance. mainly due to those boulders that that fucking ogre shoots nearly every turn

  • nest of eagles...thats a hard battle on BR 4...but I nailed it! :D

  • @zwady seriously i dont know how you people pull something like that out XD

  • @Nightmare7454 In the next play-through you get to transfer all your components over to the new game, so you can already make some of the best weapons...at least the best weapon of your choice for rush. Also rush's orbs which allow him to use magic etc are also carried over. So basically you can use bluff to boost your morale up straight away. And as morale is basically what makes the game as hard as it can get, at times, as long as it's high you can withstand more damage.

  • @zwady Also, Gae Bolg is a must! :D Two of those and you're only down to castanea and roeas with full morale! Also useful to keep the guest union alive and allow them to deadlock one of 'em. Defeat roeas first as she can't multi-deadlock!

  • @zwady jeez the problem is that my unions have barely full morale, the number of enemies is overwhelming, and the bosses are grossly op.

  • @Nightmare7454 As far as I remember, in the first turn there's 2 enemy unions by themselves. If you focus on getting rid of those first, that's all the first 2 turns has to offer. By that point david's union should have over 80AP, ready to fire Gae Bolg by the time the other enemy unions decide to start attacking. I used 3 unions, each union having someone with a vivification herb. Rush's union mostly was to raise morale. David's to conserve AP, (about 40AP every turn) and my third has a soldier

  • @zwady you can get for free in the town square who has hexes up to smoke canister, as the leader. This helps deal a lot more damage as you're attacking each member in the enemy union with those mystic arts. If he gets a critical on any of the enemies, he usually finished a union in 1 turn. Are you on your first or second play-through?

  • @zwady uh second, i wont lie, i used trainer, the game is very hard. oh btw do you know how to unlock task 20 at guild? i cant seem to open it. i asked tho tards at game spot, but they mark anything not related to GUYS HOW DO I TALK TO GIRLZ ??? as inappropriate on pc games forum here is link to that post, just to get you in picture

    /forums/topic/28996548/the-last-remnant-guild-task-20?msg_id=334805214#334805214

  • i like those bell sounds. they add so much awesomeness. i also luv how they managed to mix rock with that.....y know.....middle ages theme.

  • Some of the best music i have ever heard on an rpg. Shame they are not still called Squaresoft, because that way we would still have mind blowing storylines to go with it. Tech aside, imagine this shit on FF7, or 8 for that matter, that would b some hot shit right there!!

  • REINFORCED!

    me:haxers!

  • Epic first battle music!

  • The PC release was a solid game in most respects.

The console release was a beta-quality dungheap.

The music was quite good in both, but you don't get to savor the cream filling if the cookie recipe substituted crap for cocoa. Hence, the wildly varying reviews.

  • i really looovvvvvveeeeddd this music, it's a shame when your BR is high it is changed to that high morale music.

  • I commented here two years ago, and I still keep coming back for this music. Timeless. Classic. Epic.

  • For as many bugs as this game had, the soundtrack is fucking awesome - and was really a good game overall. It's really a shame there were so many techincal issues - they should have waited a few more months, worked the kinks out and made it right - I think this game could have been a great one.

  • I learned my lessons now: To never rely on IGN/Gamespot reviews and ratings. Huh, if I didn't give this game a chance, I'd be so.. Iunno, sad? If I didn't play this game, I wouldn't have known this awesome soundtrack (And I wouldn't have known about that Smexy David, too!). This game, is awesome! Heck, I'm addicted noaw. DX

  • this game was only mildly good for me, it had half-way decent characters, awesome battle themes, and cool graphics. But what really killed this game for me was :, uber- annoying status effects (curse you curse!), and the fact that sometimes the game doesn't allow you to do what you want to do, for example : this one time in my fight against that girl who obeys the conquerer. I had full AP and was left with 10% of my HP . but then the game won't let me heal! That just ain't fair!

  • @blabla99x you didn't have enough ap to heal, if you did it would have appeared unless your unions were positioned wrong. the thing is the options that you are given are based on the scenario, the more ap you have, the more ass you'll be kicking and positioning is also an important thing, think of it like chess, if you have 1 union left and has no ap/healing items and is deadlocked it's pretty much checkmate

  • This game is too related on random things. I don't like that ! For me it is not even a game !

But I must admit, this OST is awesome !

  • Has anyone noticed whenever Rush or one of his teamplayers dies, they always land in a weird position?!

  • @iluvKH4eva its like their spines turn around and they bend over... backwards.

  • @iluvKH4eva When they die their bones get crashed and they fall backwards XD

  • @mangekouitachi yeah looks really stupid

  • @iluvKH4eva lol that's the unreal engine for you

  • Amo este tema hasta que le di con el nombre es epico THANKS

  • Rush: What!? somebody took me out?

  • To hell with it - I'm buying this soundtrack, today maybe! A really good game thus far (I'm only halfway through, and can't get past the friggin' double boss battle)

I'm not huge on the battle system, but the battle cinematography is awesome. Shame the X360 can't run it smoothly.

  • Awsome battle theme love it

  • EPIC!!!!!!

  • Game is ok, but it has one of the best soundtracks ever XD

  • Comment removed

  • bahaha this one reminds of Rush Sykes saying "C'mon let's kick some A..!" *deadlock*

  • thats what I hate you level up and the bad guy gets harder how stupid is that?

  • the scaling is limited, leveling up will increase monster strength but not as much as you increase, it just prevents enemies becoming _too_ easy.

  • @OLDYOUTH I find that its not that stupid myself (I know this is an old comment) I mean, it actually adds the element of tactics to the game. Other games you can just level your way to victory, where as in this game, you need to take a few minutes to plan a strategy. Also, enemies may level with you, but only to an extent. For example... a boss levels with you to... say, BR50 (just an example), if you go higher than BR 50, he won't continue.

  • Yeah, try the PC version. It completely destroys any console version.

  • hehe indeed the damage is much higher in the pc version and u can have every1 as leader but the graphs are a bit bader than in the console vers even if u play at highest

  • @212809 If the PC version is really that good, then I gotta get myself a copy of it! I have it on xbox, and I love the game, if PC is so much better, then I think I have a new goal XD 1. New laptop. 2. This game on PC.

  • Oddly enough, the system specs aren't that high for this on pc. I have:

    intel E6550 core 2 duo 2.33 ghz

    2GB ram

    nVidia 8600gt

My rig runs this game on max settings with 60 FPS and NEVER any slowdown, ever. Even if you turn a couple settings down, you can't tell much of a difference at all.

  • @Archlvt well mines a poopy acer and has a hard enough time streaming youtube videos XD

  • Hearing this reminds me of the fight with Castenia(if i spelt wrong who cares) and Roeas. This theme matches that fight perfectly. The music and the game are both epically arranged and holds a place in my opinion as the best turn based rpg.

  • If the game didn't have the graphics bug of fps suddenly dropping down in fights, it would be one of the most epic games ever, its overlookable but ruins some of the feel.

  • Try the PC version. Battle animations have been sped up. Frame rate issues are COMPLETELY gone, it runs at a full 60 fps with no slowdowns just like devil may cry games do. You aren't penalized for raising your BR in the PC version either, as well as many other improvements.

    There's a demo for it.

  • I dunno about a demo, if i wanted to try the PC version i'd prolly just obtain it "not-so-legally" as i sure as heck aint paying for a game twice.

  • your so bad!! ^^

game is worth the price, in PC is awsome, i dunno in PS3 or 360

  • Yea its worth the price... but not twice in my opinion...

  • So do it, I did, and it was worth it. If S-E doesn't like it, then tough, guess they shouldn't have made the PC version so much more superior. I paid for a working product, didn't get it, so I made sure I got it by any means necessary :)

  • If they wanted to stop such, they'd need to make a update for the game and put it on xbox live for free...

  • Which is why developers should stick with their products, not finish it, make a DLC dungeon and then move on and never look back. Games and made and shipped out too quickly and no care is taken to make sure they stay polished.

I mean, even Diablo 2 is still receiving patches and updates. Developers need to stop abandoning their products.

That being said, if you don't have the game, then the PC version is worth buying. I have no problem buying the game once, just not twice.

  • @Archlvt but remember, developers arent sat on their ass all day, they're probably in the making of a new game which could be a sequal to the past product

  • Great track, unlike the game itself...

  • My second favorate battle theme on Last Remnant. Right behind 'Sword Sparks'. ^^

  • 5/5, the soundtrack alone is worth the price of the game.

  • This game had the most amazing soundtrack ever... this track is legendary.

  • The style of music reminded me of Legend of the Dragoon battle music ^^

  • now that is an rpg, miles better than this one by far... cant beat haschel, summon 4 gods hehe. hes class.

  • Legend of Dragoon raised the bar for mediocre.

  • Music goes well whenever the sovani attacks. Awesome theme ^_^

  • Love the Intro

  • "C'mon! Let's kick some A!"

hell yeah, this music is kicking A

it's adding the epicness of the battle in TLR

  • I always thought he said: "Let's kick some head!" ..but now that you say that, that makes alooot of sense.. O_o

  • whoa, I thought this was like 'real' music

not background music for a game o.o

  • It IS real music. Every tune is played on a real instrument.

  • nice

  • this game is great, but the ending sucks ¬¬"

  • best RPG in X360 and PC!!

  • Me2 i luv it but i got the pc version and thats much harder on the xbox360 version the rare monsters takes like 300-600 hp but in the pc they take 1500-3000

  • yeah but the PC version allows you to use full leader formations, so that makes up to it

  • this is the warzone battle theme

  • It's also the rare monster battle theme.

  • nice ost new gameplay and great story line pretty much all i can ask for 5/5

  • i kno man i almost didnt get it, but then thought to myself that reviewers suck at reviewing everything. They say loading times are too long and hard to learn how to play. Quick solution = Install it so the load times are like 2 seconds and play for more than an 1 hour and give up on learning it.

  • This game is awesome, and so is its OST.

Too bad many reviewers gave it a bad review, so that many people are avoiding a very good game.

  • You see, that's why i don't trust video game reviews. My respect for video game reviews sunk even lower when i heard that IGN is giving the new sonic game a bad preview because of his eyes being green.

  • @jsl4493

The WORST part is that the PC version, which added contented and fixed all the major bugs, has the same score on Metacritic. (Which uses a 100/100 scale to top it off. How does it have the SAME score?). Crazy lol.

  • @jsl4493 most people just dont get the game cause they are too dumb to understand the battle mechaniks

  • @Neroburningyou Haha, won't lie, my first time playing I had NO idea what I was doing xD Now I'm playing again, and I understand sooo much better xD

  • @jsl4493 because they dont really know what is a good game!!

  • @jsl4493 If i would mind the reviews, then I would have missed a lot of awesome games.

  • @jsl4493 Some people were too stupid to figure out the battle system, and because of that they assumed it was all "random" and didn't require skill, just dumb luck. It's their loss, but the xbox version is REALLY bad. The pc version fixed everything that was wrong with it though.

  • @Archlvt Truth

  • @jsl4493 bad review?

Let me talk to these people so that hey may feel the wraith of David's Gae Bolg!

  • @jsl4493 So true... Love this game :D

  • I love playing this game I just wish we had a little more control of how we choose who uses what arts and attacks

  • The rare monster theme of the game. This game's OST is extremely well done, as is the game itself. I haven't liked a game this much in years.

  • Yep this is the 3rd battle theme~ for TLR
