@AznDude3194 Wow, I lied. I have a lot less done than I thought. I have the instrument charting done for Resistance and the guitar track done for New Born. I may upload footage of Resistace running in Reaper for now so that I can get some feedback on it before i do the animations and stuff (cause we all know, my drum charting sucks)

Looks good, but I have one thing to point out- during the chorus, the drums seem a bit off- the two reds between the G/B/O bits should come a tad later. There's a small pause between the GBO and Reds.

sorry one more question...when you put the song in reaper do you use a .wav or .ogg file?

either will do since when I'm done, I export a wav from reaper.

and one other thing, what is the secret to getting the BPM exactly right?

Search BPM Calculator on google. first link should be it. I use it to get a general idea of what it is. put it into reaper and move the audio file along the track so that the first audible beat in the song aligns with the first beat in a measure. Then turn on the metronome, listen in, and adjust accordingly.

ok, i do that a lot but it seems to always get off beat around 45 seconds in, but i guess you have to adjust ever minute or so? thanks for the help by the way.

1. 1:19 - 1:37 and 2:47 - 3:56 seem like solos to me.

2. 1:32 and 3:18 have enough tremolo to warrant a slow trill maybe?

Since you don't own the song &master charts, if you actually tried to play it wouldn't the whole song skip if you miss a note?

that is what i thinking; how did he do this without the individual instrument tracks? in Reaper do you just make the same song file the track for every instrument?

Exactly. If you miss a note, the whole song would continue to play from another instrument and the backing track. It would be nice to have the individual tracks, though!

When i have no distractions, it takes me about an hour or so to do each instrument.

Uprising was the first song I've ever made. Took me two days, but when i made Dark shines it only really took me about six hours since I've familiarized myself with the editor. Also, i skip a lot, like programming animations and making lower difficulties.

the sustains on the guitar are too long. they should be cut about a 16th note before the next one starts. Aside from that, looks like you're getting better.

Hopefully Muse will want to actually release their songs onto RB.

This here is the issue I think we'll be having with Rock Band Network. People will just record songs off of the internet and chart them.

Especially with Guitar Hero songs, people will replicate the charts and use the song off Itunes.

Awesome work... thanks for the chart... as you say the vocals need some redoing, specially including the "screaming falsetto" after the break in the song... it's almost inaudible but if you pay attention you'll hear Matt "screaming"...

It's my favorite Muse song... love it to death!
