ok twirling in my opinion is way harder then gymnastics & cheering i did all of them, im a twirler now & when your tossing that baton for like a 4 turn, it comes down , hits you in the head you can get hurt bad! split your head open! trust me it hurts way moree then breaking a bone or pulling something when you do gymnastics. all im saying is twirling takes alot of skill & i would knoww. you try it if you think its so easyy! i been in it for a year & caught the hardest tricks you could imagine!

twirling takes alot of skill and flexbility obviously. Cheer leading you throw people and you lift them,some aren't so light,we yell chants yes we do, but at least we're not running around with our crotch hangin out! Cheer leading is hard and we have to have strength, so when you try to compare... watch before you step.

I'm not saying that I'm flexible at all so don't go there. All gymnasts seem like bitches and obviously you fit in that category. Cheerleaders don't always wear frilly little skirts. But you wear skin tight shit too. Also you probably don't have any boobs so whatever. And I agree with beanerhater40610.... And no we don't use beams because well we're just good like that, and other people would rather go out with a cheerleader then a gymnasts obviously.

She probobly did not do many spins because with out proper lighting its very difficult.

On a competition floor I can easily throw andcatch a six spin but if its on stage or at a school with dim lights its difficult to even attempt a two spin.

Make sure you get some rolls in there though. There really great because lighting/hitting the ceiling is not an issue and people are very impressed.

I don't care what everyone else says, you did a great job. It takes a lot of guts to twirl in front of the whole school. I've casually twirled since I was 5 but never did more than one baton. If people are busy commenting about how bad you are what does that say about themselves? I loved everything, especially the costume. It would be nice if you would add the music though :)

Honestly, do you get some kind of sick satisfaction out of criticizing people? I twirled for 5 years and could not do rolls like those. Any ways, you don't need to make a routine that hard for a school show. people who don't know a lot about baton are very impressed by one spins. If I was doing something for a school show, I would have made it a lot simpler. She definitely overachieved. I thought it was great, and that you are either a jealous liar, or have some serious issues.
